On our vacation from Arizona, I did some research about where to eat by our hotel, and boy, am I glad I found this place! I asked our waitress to recommend their most popular dishes, and so we understand why they are popular… they were awesome! We’ll be back to try other dishes soon.

This, I was told, is an authentic Taiwanese restaurant. The cuisine is typical of what you find in Taiwan and Shanghai.

One of my favorite noodle restaurants in Irvine with great prices for food, quick service, and friendly staff! My go to order has always been their spicy beef noodle soup and their beef wraps but today we wanted a quick and light dinner. This time we ordered 小笼包(xiao long bao), 酸辣凉面(suan la liang mian) – hot and sour cold noodles, and the 清炖牛肉面(qing dun niu rou mian) – clear beef broth noodles. The cold noodles had a sweet, spicy, and slight sour vinegar sauce while the beef broth noodles had a nice rice flavor without being too heavy.

Food is good, it wasn’t busy, got the chicken rice dish and fried dumplings. Was a pretty nice meal. Only thing I did not enjoy was how the non-Asian staff was rushing me with everything. Tossed the check onto my table and stood there to take my cards and snatch the receipt right after I signed it. Felt that was just trying to kick me out asap :/

Absolutely the best beef noodle soup outside of south Taiwan.

This is my favorite place to return every time I visit LA. I grow up eating A&J (they’ve been in multiple locations) so I’m biased but the Taiwanese classics — spicy wonton, beef noodle soup, fried chicken rice and all the small dishes — always hit the spot. Tastes like home.

This place used to have a location in Norcal that was a childhood go-to restaurant for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to find it again while visiting the LA area and had to try it out after so many years. The pork chop noodle soup is yummy, as well as the beef noodle soup. Nice place for Taiwanese comfort food.

Been going here for over two decades now. Not much has changed other than the fact that they accept credit card now which is nice.
