We went on a brunch date today at Rugars and all we can say is “AMAZING”! It’s in a beautiful area with windows all along one side to take in the scenery. The building inside and out is decorated with simple touches that are both warm and welcoming. And then the food….wow, simply mouth-watering! And the bottomless mimosas were delish! It is well worth the short drive to go enjoy! We are looking forward to going back soon!

Service was quick and friendly. From the time we walked through the door to when we walked out, we were only there for an hour and ordered quite a bit of food! We got two appetizers, two entrees and two drinks. All the food was delicious and seasoned well! The portions were extremely generous. The entrees come with a nice sized salad, seasonal vegetables, and a side of your choice. Our entire bill was only $85 (not including tip) and completely worth it for all the food we got. Highly recommended dining here!

We had reservations for 7:00 PM and were seated at exactly our reservation time. Our service was not only quick, but excellent. We were in and out of there by 8:00. Our food was cooked perfect, and SO delicious. The special was the crawfish & shrimp Cajun pasta–let me say this: I ate the entire plate. The waitress was super friendly, the food tasted amazing, and the view was breath taking. I thought the prices were extremely fair considering how much food you actually get and the type of restaurant you get to experience. 100/10 recommend and can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful dining and social experience. The views and atmosphere were unbeatable. The servings were excellent and had the attention of the chef (came around to inquire). Best? The staff! They were excellent, knowledgeable or quick to provide a response, and were very personable. A great experience to be repeated.

Had the salmon with fried green tomatoes, salad with vinaigrette dressing and carrots. The dressing was mostly balsamic vinegar and the fried green tomatoes were paper thin with way to much batter and the skin was so tough that the steak knife would not cut it. All he other food was very delicious.

Like all new businesses I’m sure there were a few kinks to work out. They have been open now for a month or so. Tonight my experience was AWESOME!! The very best French dip prime rib and handcut fries I have had in a long time. Atmosphere was stunning with an incredible view of the river. I highly recommend this place for a unique view and excellent food. Our server Macy went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I will definitely be back!!!!

Had Father’s Day brunch today and it was delicious! Brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork! We certainly left full and it was a special day for Dad. Danielle, our server had the sweetest smile and was very attentive. The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating. We will be back!

We went opening weekend. The place was great. Food was excellent. Servers were friendly and did a great job. I forgot to get the cheesecake and I am told it is also wonderful. So great food and good desert all with a wonderful view, how can you go wrong.

We had prepared and read the specials online before going, the waitress never mentioned them. We received warm beer that hadn’t been in the cooler. The waitress said it would be taken off the bill. My salad came out with the wrong dressing. I ordered the salmon with cowboy butter. I had to ask for the cowboy butter. The carrots, were more raw than cooked. And I got charged for the beer after we were told sorry we grabbed them out of the wrong cooler. The atmosphere is a great location I wish someone could put the heart back into this lovely place.
