This place seems marketed as a high-end restaurant and has decent enough reviews. I should check checked more closely. My wife and I left somewhat disappointed. Arrived to our reservation at 6, saw multiple others arrive at a similar time, saw some of those people served before us, and received our meal at about 7:25… yes 1 hour and 25 minute wait time. They did not have multiple items on the menu which was very disappointing since that is why we chose to come. The ambiance was great with classy music. If you have time to kill could be a great place for you and your significant other to chat, which we did enjoy, but we were hoping to do other things for the night as well. Don’t recommend bringing kids that will demand a lot of attention. You will lose your patience if they don’t serve quickly. It seemed like they were understaffed, at least the cooks were. The servers were pleasant but seemed distracted and not attentive at times. The food naturally was not what we originally wanted, but what we did get was OK. My wife was very disappointed with the halibut, dry and it did not have much good to go with it as you see in the picture. I had the cavatappi with chicken, they did not have salmon despite the menu saying so. It all tasted good to with lots of new and good flavors for my palate. However, I would not order it again. Next time we come we will likely pass on this place and go elsewhere.

Very small intimate restaurant. Service was good. I ordered the butternut squash bisque, was not pleasing to the palette. Very bland and the bread was faint of flavor and very hard and dried out. Moose drool was good. The others in the group seemed please with what they had ordered. Will go back again and order something different with hopes of a dish with bursting flavor.

I had a reservation for 6:30pm on a Friday night for 2. We arrived just before 6:30 and we were seated promptly. The restaurant is clean and nice. We were given a great wine recommendation by our server. But, the bread and salad we ordered didn’t reach our table until 8pm. The bread was stale and nearly impossible to chew. The salad had rancid fish on it and we couldn’t stomach more than 1 bite. At 8:30pm we still hadn’t been served our main course and asked to pay the bill for what we’d been given because at that point we were starved. 8 guests seated at 3 different tables seated after us were served their dinners before us. One of those tables of 4 must have been close friends with the one of the servers because their food, drinks, appetizers, and service was expedited. They were paying their bill before we had been served a salad, and they were seated about 30 minutes after us. I noticed that our server was also serving drinks at the bar. I feel terrible for our server who was expected to be waiting tables and tending to the bar at the same time. It is simply unacceptable to have to wait over two hours before being served our main course. We did not get to taste nor even see the steaks we had ordered, and we did not get the opportunity to order any deserts we had been looking forward to trying. I cannot blame our server for the horrendous experience I had here. Management NEEDS to figure out how to serve those who are dining at tables and serve those at the bar without giving all of that responsibility to a single person. I was extremely disappointed

A great date night for us. Steak was cooked perfectly, asparagus tasty, mashed potatoes bomb! The Mushroom Risotto was really good. Service was attentive and witty, they made sure we were having a nice experience. I really appreciated it. Sitting on the patio was perfection.

One of the few places in town to eat out. Old style elegance located in the basement of the building so takes a little effort to locate. Food was tasty but on the pricey side. My wife and I had the salmon while others in our party had the prime rib and the stuffed poblano pepper which both looked good. Menu on line was not updated so items we actually were looking forward to ordering were not available which was disappointing. Even items on the menu were not available.

Horrible experience. All the staff were completely frantic, flustered, and disorganized with only a few tables to wait on. The place was cluttered, dirty, and had outdated decor. Food was subpar for the price. We couldn’t wait to finish our one drink, greasy salmon spread, and get out of there.

We are so happy with our experience here! They have the option to dine outside along the river or inside. Because this was a special occasion, we chose to have trout cakes and a fisherman’s soup as appetizers. We had the pork roulade and summer salmon and finished it off with a piece of carrot cake. What an amazing experience! We are staying at the Riverside and also received a $40 dining credit from booking online. We have one more night and are looking forward to trying more on the menu. Please make sure you stay and have dinner here. It’s so well worth it!
