Our family stopped here for lunch after visiting the Cedar Park cemetery IL. This is a family owned small restaurant with all members working. Food was very good and we enjoyed every dish we tried. If going with a large party best to call ahead as seating is limited.

This is a unique restaurant serving Spanish fare such as tapas and paella. It’s unique because it’s operated and staffed by an Argentinian family. Our waitresses grandfather is the cook and owner. He came out several times to greet us and present our dinner. We had the seafood paella served hot in a paella cooking pan. It was loaded with jumbo shrimp, muscles clams and fish. There was enough to serve six people.

Paella on the South Side!! Stop in and try it, you won’t be disappointed! Alex is so accommodating. Service was outstanding! Mom & Dad were the added bonus! They kept checking on us, made sure we had everything we wanted. Try every Empanada, even the Vegan option (Spinach and Mushrooms) all homemade! Please call if you have a large party (4 or more) so they can accommodate you. The complimentary lentil soup and bread… Mm mm mm!!! And I don’t eat beans! Didn’t get a picture of that. Next time!

The ambience is quaint with soft instrumental music as your background. For starters the complimentary really hit the spot. The gambas al ajillo are tender and the sauce has a flavourful garlic taste. We order the Paella with mariscos and it was delicious! Definitely enough for at least three people! For dessert the flan is succulent, smooth with a rich caramel taste. Glad to find a taste of Spain on the Southside of Chicago.

This family owned and family run restaurant was big on value, big on service, but even bigger on Flavor!! We were 8 people, and everything we ordered we would go back and get again! Empanada (all 4 flavors), we’re delicious, as was the escargot. The calamari and the octopus were done To Perfection. And the seafood paella was chock full of fresh, well seasoned seafood. The family is lovely and they make all food fresh to order. Thank you to them for such a lovely dinner! We will be back!

So delicious! I didn’t know if I would like this Spanish food restaurant but it was incredibly tasty and very affordable. All this food was less than $15 a person and we had wine, too. Will be my new cozy go to spot for a dine in experience. Also, great for dinner with friends or romantic dinner with someone special as the ambience is quiet with soft music in the background.

Let me start off by saying this is my first Spanish Tapis restaurant. It is family run by the Dad, Mom, and son and the service they provide is thee best. Always attentive and respectful, awesome at making sure we have the best service. We went with a party of 5 and the margaritas tasted so authentic and the bottle of wine was spot on with the food. We had the House plate, goat cheese with cherry sauce garlic bread, an order of S cargo and the bakes mussels and an order of the goat cheese with bread and all of it tasted fresh and authentic and was brought to us in a perfect amount of time. And for desert we had the cheese cake, and the faln and it was so smooth and delicious. I 100% recommend coming to this place and supporting them. You will not be disappointed and not to mention the atmosphere is perfect with plants and great art work of all kinds to look at. 5 out 5 no question.
