Homely restaurant which attracts a good crowd on Friday evening. Live music, as there was a blues band playing during this review. Stiff cocktails and delicious desserts. Friendly waitstaff and clean bathroom. In March 2023, the Fulton County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location.

We went to Sam’s for lunch. Everything was great and the prices are reasonable. They have a full bar along with a fair assortment of drafts. I had shrimp Scampi which came with my choice of pasta. It contained 6 large shrimp. It tasted great and freshly made. My Scampi was 15 dollars which is a steal in today’s world. Highly recommended.

Was staying in town for the night and Sam’s was highly recommended by the hotel clerk. Awesome food, decent prices, very nice & friendly staff, and conveniently located on the main road through town. I, too, will say it’s highly recommended.

We each had steak, NY Strip for my man and Delmonico for me. We got a baked potato and broccoli as our sides so we could share and he had steamed clams as an appetizer.

Very busy and the wait was 20 to 25 minutes. The waitstaff was very polite and apologized for the wait. When we got out food it was delicious and our waiter was very attentive even though they were very busy. I would go again!

The food was terrible, the service was mediocre at best, and the bathrooms smelled like a homeless person crapped their pants and died. Unfortunately, that smell lightly trickled out into the restaurant. We had hoped for better, but not likely something you’ll find in this town, at least from our experience during our not short enough visit.
