First time here. We came for an early dinner and genuinely enjoyed it. The food was good and it was brought out quickly. The atmosphere was welcoming. Our waitress and other staff were kind and prompt. It looks like it would be nice to come back and enjoy a drink in the bar area.

This place was a great find. Small and intimate but the quality of the food and drinks were great. If you are in the area, you should really stop in for some food. We had the Salmon, pulled pork, prime rib dip, and the pasta. The food came out hot and did not take very long. Considering there were a lot of people, I was really impressed. The waitress came back to check on us many times so we never waited for anything. The entire staff was friendly and the seating was comfortable. There are a few outside tables but the ambiance of the inside made it worth being there. We will definitely come back again. Oh, I should mention that they have a full bar and the drinks were perfect.

Honestly saw the establishment and decided hey this is worth a try. I ended up ordering a draft beer but the cocktails here are incredibly amazing. The service here also is amazing and the bartender is awesome. Let us know about things around also great in conversation and knowledgeable. The food even though it wasn’t that time of day when we arrived was great for happy hour time. Honestly one of my favorite places to go for a drink and to have a relaxed time with friends. Will be back soon to try many of the cocktails and more of the draft beer selection.

The bar manager was a delight. He was very knowlegable and friendly. I would go back just based on the wonderful service from Glen. That being said, the Proper needs to start doing brunch again. We are sorely lacking brunch places in the area.

Great service and great food. Wonderful place for date nights. Parking isn’t the greatest. If you plan on drinking, it’s best to get a ride anyway. Definitely suggest the baked brie appetizer. I’m happy to go there any day of the week. Easily one of the gems in La Cañada.

We had a lunch here and ordered Proper Burger and turkey and avocado sandwich. The foods were all great and especially, I recommend the Proper burger. The meat is thick and juicy. Above all that, the place is great so if you have a friend, its a great place for hang out.
