Delicious, definitely come here, especially to sit by their outdoor fire on a cold day! The pizza was a perfect sharing portion, and the beer was so quenching after a long day in the city. Great atmosphere, fair prices, friendly staff.

Good pizzas here. They are one size. We ordered wings $16, funghi (mushroom) pizza $21 and arugula/prosciutto $21. The wings were plain and lacked flavor. I’m used to something with more flavor. The arugula/prosciutto pizza smelled great. It tasted even better. The crust and dough could have been better. My favorite is the funghi. Those pieces of mushrooms mixed well with the cheese. Good job Rise Pizzeria.

A slightly expensive fancy pizzeria in downtown Burlingame. I liked the food but didn’t think the prices were justified. I liked the margherita pizza which had thin wood fired pizza slices with basil and mozzarella. Also got the burrata with pesto, arugula and cherry tomatoes which came with some dry toasted bread. For drinks we had a mocktail which had berries and pomegranate juice and was quite refreshing.

The place is perfect for what it is – fast casual pizza in a chill atmosphere. As such, it delivers a good, but not great pizza. The perfect pizza crust to me has a bit more flavor, a slight bit more crisp on the outside while being airy with a bit of bite on the inside and not soggy at all. My favorite is the calabrese and honey pizza. The little gem salad here is a bit underwhelming. Nice selection of wines. Happy hour prices are a great deal but ends super early.

Rise Pizzaria is my family’s first choice for pizza night. Rise won my choice because of the great wood oven puff. The choice of pizzas are excellent and my choices are the Prosciutto Pizza and Fungi Pizza. The pizzaria is always busy and sometimes loud. Every visit is met with a smile from the young, cool, and hipster staff. All N All…. Rise in Burlingame is our favorite pizzaria

This is a really nice place. The bruchetta is invigorating, the dough delicate and perfectly cooked, and Pironi on tap. I’ve had two pizzas and now definitely lean towards the “crushed tomato” side of the menu. The non-tomato may be great for those that cannot partake, but I was definitely a little underwhelmed by the missing flavor and texture, not realizing I was ordering a sauce-less high-temp flatbread. Nonni and Foozi are both fixtures in this restaurant. I don’t think they could do it without them!

Best local pizza I’ve had since moving to the Bay Area. I like a basic margarita pie, especially when I try a new place, so that I can compare between spots. Each ingredient was perfect- the crust was delicate, the mozzarella was the ideal blend of creamy and salty, and the sauce was amazing. Don’t miss out on the topping bar either.

Surprising amazing pizza. We got a plain Margherita, and the artichoke pesto one to share as well as the pesto burrata as a starter. Everything arrived in a timely manner even though it was packed.

The pizza was *AMAZING*. I came hungry and I was more than satisfied. The pizza is delicious and will be my new go-to. I got the Napoli and the sauce was super tasty. It was made to perfection – the dough and toppings were just right. (I didn’t love the fire roasted brussels sprouts but the pizzas more than made up for that).

Rise is one of the few fast-casual spots in Burlingame, and I’ve had a lot of good meals here over the years. The best thing to do is, get a table by the fire pit on the patio, order your favorite pizza, grab a glass of wine, and finish it all off with their homemade cookies (warmed up). It’s an easy breezy delicious and happy dinner. I do miss the toppings bar that existed pre-Covid, but still Rise consistently delivers. Also appreciate a family owned business!
