My husband and I came here for a date night, and to be honest, we really enjoyed ourselves. We came across it looking on Google, after attempting to go to another Japanese sushi restaurant closer to home, but when we arrived and the lines went out both front and back doors, we left. This is a small establishment, it has a more family-feel to it, and we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Even though there was only a few customers, we liked that it wasn’t over packed and was more intimate.

This is a small mom and pop restaurant in downtown La Verne and i’s very cute inside.The vibe is nice and I took some pictures while I waited for my takeout. The price was also decent, not terriblely expensive for sushi. The food was very good. We got an Alaskan roll and a Baked Scallop roll. They were a little smaller than average but very good. The salmon was fresh and had a great flavor and the scallops were chopped and cooked well. I went home and placed everything on a medium plate and it filled the plate up 100 percent would go again.

A small mom & pop place. The sushi is very fresh. You can taste the difference from other places. I typically don’t eat salmon rolls, here I did and the flavor was amazing. They have a variety to choose from. Check hours before attending

Went here for sushi while in town. Really cute place!! Friendly lady and good food. The salmon sashimi was delicious! The rolls were great! Tried the red dragon roll. It was tasty!! So is the double shrimp.

The food at the place is generally ok, however the service and atmosphere are terrible. Today I went to the restaurant for the first time and when I went to order and said I didn’t know some of the dishes there and had asked if there were portions with two units, the woman simply didn’t explain, asked me to decide what to order and told me I turned around, and it said that there were no two-piece dishes, although the menu said that there were, even some of the ones I had asked about, that they were not missing. When I commented to a teacher what he thought of a certain place, he also complained that the place was pretty bad. The second time I ordered, this time for delivery, I just didn’t order from another Asian restaurant, because the last one in La Verne, Wang, was about to close and wouldn’t be open until the next day. The other Japanese restaurants that I found much more interesting, super close to here, didn’t deliver because they were in another city

Sushi was terrible. California roll was just crab mush in rice, no cucumber or anything else, a disappointment to the state. My tuna roll had fallen apart completely by the time I opened the box, and it tasted very dry. The rolls were scattered all over the box, which was just a cardboard container. The woman working was not very nice. Bad food, everyone leaving 5 star or 4 star reviews has never had actually good japanese food.
