It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. Today is the grand opening and it was drive thru only. Since it was the grand opening, I will give them a pass on the wait time although it was fairly efficient. The burger was made just like I ordered it. The fries were warm and had just the right amount of salt. The drink had the right amount of ice. I marked them down 1 star because I wasn’t offered any ketchup for the fries. Overall it was a good grand opening day experience.

We have had Whataburger back home, so the food wasn’t new to us, just the location. We went through the drive thru and they did forget a couple things in our order so my husband had to go inside to get it. Overall the food was good. Fries were fairly cold so that was a bummer but we were already in a hurry so we didn’t ask to have them replaced. Burgers were good and the BLT was pretty good as well.

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger PLAIN for my kid at the drive thru. we were 3 miles away when he opened it and it was loaded with everything. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? $15 burger in the garbage. he refuesed to eat it mainly because it had mustard all over it.

After waiting 24 minutes in line, I’m driving to Lynn Haven to the other WB to order food. Every night for the past week I have driven 32 miles to this location and end up waiting past 20 minutes, then going to Lynn Haven. I wish just once, I wouldn’t have to waste extra gas because this place doesn’t want to serve customers. After tonight, I’ll always just go to Lynn Haven. Awful service.
