I wanted to like this place so much! We just moved to the area and this place is super close to us, so I was excited to try this place out. I did tonight…. Unfortunately it was a let down. I called and ordered 2 pizzas for pick-up and they told me it would be 25 minutes. So I waited exactly that. When I get there, I paid and left a tip (about $65 total including tip) … they then asked if I would like an appetizer… I was confused and said no (because I had already paid). & then the server says “it’s on the house”….. again, confused I said “no” and then I asked how much longer our order was going to be… she said 15 minutes. It was then that I knew they hadn’t even started my order yet. I was already annoyed, but I already paid and wanted to give this place a shot! When I got home, I opened the pizza box, only to find a SOGGY pizza! The whole box was drenched at the bottom. I couldn’t even stomach down one slice. I just threw the rest of it in the dumpster… maybe the stray cats can stomach it down. Waste of money and an absolute waste of time. I’d prefer Little Caesars to that ANY DAY!

It was my first time in here. Since is an Italian restaurant I couldn’t help comparing it with Olive Garden. I asked for my favorite dish. That is the Chicken alfredo. Pernicanos chicken alfredo has no good flavor, the chicken seems to be just unfrozen and the pasta is just plain, I was hoping at least the alfredo sauce to be rich, but no, it was kinda liquid and light in flavor. I left it all. The pizza seems to be very famous there since a lot of customers where asking for it. It was ok, the dough is handmade wich is good and different from others. But the cheese or sauce tasted like if it was made with tap water. Like the soft drinks at the gas station. The good thing was the sampler appetizers and the tiramisú! Definitely it saved the day. It’s just my humble opinion and hope it helps you decide what to order when you visit here. Waitress by the way was very kind. Thank you!

I was thougherly impressed! My family knew the father from many years ago growing up in San Diego.. It was like I was in my Nana’s kitchen having old school Italian food again! It was my first time visiting the location in El Cajon. And ill be back !

Our first visit, we took two of our grand kids and my dad. Dad loved the soup and salad, the grands and I enjoyed our personal pizzas, the chicken bbq pizza was delicious! Husband who is not much of an Italian food person said his pasta was good. It was fast, friendly and reasonably priced! Thanks!!

The service and courtesy extended was impeccable. The food, excellent! I had a Zucchini Parmesan with spaghetti which was great. We ordered a White pizza which was wonderful, even the crust had a delicious flavor. For dessert I had their Lemon Tartufo, it had a light refreshing flavor, and was delicious as well. We had a great relaxing dinner, never feeling rushed, even when they were closing, they told us to take our time. Everyone was great to us, including the bus boy. The courtesy and geniality we received here was such a welcome relief from today’s society. I cannot say enough about this restaurant and it’s people. I highly recommend eating here
