Hand-pulled noodles here are the sh*t. I didn’t have time to take a picture of them right away so here’s a picture after I inhaled them. Really great dim sum as well. Prices are very good for the area and all the food is high quality. The lady is so friendly and accommodating. I bring everyone who visits Oakland here. Can’t recommend more highly.

This is my favorite place in the Bay! My boyfriend and I have literally gone to this restaurant 3 times this week. The service is wonderful and personalized. We’re greeted with a smile every time we walk in and the atmosphere is very inviting. The food delicious, the portions are generous and the price is right. Highly recommend for anyone in search of a new Chinese spot with yummy noodles and dim sum!

The noodles here is so fresh and delicious. It is very vegetarian friendly. My kids love their wontons there because it’s so fresh and delicious. The service is awesome and they have homemade peanuts as appetizer for free. They’re running a special (4 bowl of noodles for $30) on their noodles. Did I mention, the noodles are hand pulled fresh noodles.

Im really sad. I ordered from Spices/China Taste through doordash. I was very excited because of the high ratings esp for noodles. I ordered basics because I had never eaten here before; an order of ShuiMai, Chow Noodles and General Tso Chicken. The noodles were awful. They were like boiled with no flavors, onions or anything. It tasted like the cooks forgot to make the dish. I was very disappointed. The chicken was awful too. No flavor to it and very mushy because of the breading. The ShuiMai was amazing. I spent $50 on this meal and only ate it so I wasnt wasting my money but I should have returned it. Also Im not normally a person that gets too hyped up about bad food enough to post it as a review.

Some of the best noodles in Oakland’s Chinatown. It’s connected to spices 3 across the street but much better in my opinion. The noodles have decent spice, at least if you ask in Chinese to make it spicy. The flavor of the noodle sauces are pretty good, though a little too sweet imho. The salt and pepper dishes are a little too soft imho too. But this place is on par with the other good noodle spots around there, and it’s actually pretty cheap too.

I make my orders through DoorDash. They do have delicious dishes, specially the noodles. However watch out for the pork siumai . One time my order was raw, and today it was undercooked, the meat is still red and mushy. Please be consistent on your quality because getting refund doesn’t solve the problem. However I would give 5 stars on the hand pull noodles, love the texture and the favor. I will just stick with the noodles from now on.

It sucks that i have to write a bad review on an awesome place. The lady on the floor was rude as hell. She was making a lot of strange noises trying to make us leave. Everytime she came to the table, she would act like she didnt speak english. Then played a sound from here phone hella loud to scare us off. We ate a little and then we were ready to leave. She tried to accuse us of not paying the bill. Then she kept screaming tip tip tip! I told her that her attitude is the reason you wont get one.
