Outside dining gave to great views of prop airplanes landing and taking off on the river along with boats and barges. There were even some trains passing along the Hudson River’s edge. After adoring the menu’s artistic prints our group had a difficult time making a final decision on their order. Learning that the homemade biscuits would be out in 10 minutes it quickly narrowed down the choices. The food was both artfully plated and full of flavor. Can’t wait to go back for an evening dinner. These owners have paid attention to every detail. Well done.

We had their burger on the Menü. I need to say, it was very delicious. I would want only some things differently and hope they will adjust it. Their catch-up is from the store. They could do better and make their own. Their fries are great just could be also made of a sweet potato. Also need a vegan version of this burger. I had vegan burgers and those were amazing. They could have offered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and self made catchup. The only thing I didn’t liked was the plastic glass for my spritz, I would preferred real glass.

Lovely eatery with a good vibe. We went multiple times during our vacation. My favorite was the salmon. It was deliciously prepared and sitting out on the porch watching the boats pass the sunset was a magical pairing. I hope to come back again soon!

My husband and I decided to try Kips Tavern and we were pleasantly surprised!! Food was incredible – Loved the beat salad with whipped truffle goat cheese, and then the seared tuna I had for dinner, which was out of this world! My husband had the shrimp scampi for dinner, which he raved about, as well as a tasty chopped salad! I had a yummy bourbon cocktail and in addition to all of these for-mentioned things, the service was perfect! Give it a try – you too will be pleasantly surprised!!

We came in for late supper. Owner Christopher was kind and accommodating on a busy Friday night. We started with cocktails at the bar then ate outside. While buggy, (summer in the Hudson!) The food was delicious. Highly recommended this gem on the river.

We finally made it to Kip’s. There were some issues that I won’t go into because Christina at the bar was so fabulous and made it all okay so those details no longer need to be mentioned. We will go back, thanks to her wonderful attitude. The food was good, the ambiance was nice.

Dinner started off poorly. We had 7pm reservations, our table was unavailable, and we were asked to wait at the bar as the previous guest were still paying for the check, which happens. We waited patiently for another 20 minutes, and as we waited another couple walked in and started chatting with the staff; they seemed to know the people there. I overheard the guy ask the bartender if they had any availability that night, who deferred to the owner who was also playing host.
