I wondered about a restaurant attached to a furniture store, but it was really good! I found the regular margarita a little sweet. The Rey top shelf was great. My chicken flautas were meaty, crispy, and delicious. The salsa was fresh and spicy. Heck, anywhere that has good chips, salsa, and margarita is 75% of the way there. Lopez is Legit.

We went for lunch and ordered their carnitas and burrito plates. Both dishes had delicious flavors and good portions. The salsa that came with the chips was on the watery side. I wish this were more concentrated. Too bad they didn’t have beers on taps for a restaurant of this size. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant setting was nice and clean.

For people that live in the Richmond, TX area.. there are several Mexican restaurants in the area but none of them come close to the service, pricing, and food that they offer here at Lopez. The service here is one of the best and most consistent. The staff here work together and assist each other to insure that the guests are taken care of.

I am from South Carolina and spent my summer here in Texas. I love Mexican food and my aunt suggested we go pick up dinner at Lopez’s. And boy I was NOT disappointed!! I got the Lopez dinner and if you truly want delicious authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Lopez. I promise you that you will not be disappointed and leave with a full belly!!!

Been eating here since 1982. They have really gone down. Ordered the fajitas for 1. For the same $23 I should have ordered the fajita taco plate that comes with 3. My platter arrived with 6 small slices of fajita meat barely enough for 2 tacos. Asked the waiter and he said I ordered the meal for 1. I showed him that he brought me 3 tortillas and there was only enough meat for 2. He simply shrugged his shoulders.

Outside and inside are both really nice looking, staff is also very friendly! Best thing about the food was the drinks though, pretty good drinks at a fair price. The fajitas unfortunately were some of the most bland tasting fajitas that I can remember having.
