The brisket was amazing, the Mac and cheese taste like what it does if you make it at home. But the star of the show is the ribs. They are seasoned to perfection and don’t even need any sauce. They are amongst the best ribs I have ever ate in my life.

Nope. Not BBQ by any means. Ribs are tough and cold, brisket is dry and has zero flavor, Mac n cheese isn’t cheesy, sausage has no flavor. The only decent thing was the sweet potato casserole and it wasn’t mind blowing. I’m glad they forgot half my order because it would’ve been more for me to throw away. I’ve had BBQ all over the country and this is hands down the worst I’ve ever eaten.

The Judson High School Band had the pleasure of enlisting Moody’s to make a spread for our UIL Area marching contest judges and staff on Saturday the 30th of October. We ordered the ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, Mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans. I tell you everyone that had the pleasure of securing a plate was very pleased and impressed with the food and only left bones on their plates . I judge bbq based on if I can eat the meat without sauce and ooh wee you can, it’s seasoned to perfection.

To start, the service is incredible! The employees are so warm and welcoming and that already had me excited to chow down!! And after not so careful consideration, I came to the conclusion that this is THE BEST BBQ ive had in a while!!!! The meat is so juicy and tender and the food is seasoned to perfection and tastes like a bite of heaven! Ive even tried the cat plate and lemme tell you, at moodys they don’t miss! I always love to support my people and I’m so glad I found this BOMB A$$ BBQ joint to enjoy quality time with my family and eat delicious food!!!!

Received a DoorDash delivery earlier today, the ribs were not tender and the meat was not well seasoned. Same for the brisket, not tender and cut in huge slices with large parts of fat and only edges seasoned but meat not flavorful. Very displeased was my first time trying.

Great food! I’ve been searching for good BBQ in Texas for over a year. This is the best I’ve had by far. Ribs and sausage were awesome. The Brisket was even better. The sweat tea was on point too. We will be back!

We tried this location as it was recommended by a friend. I looked at the reviews prior to ordering. After tasting our order, I thought maybe we came on the wrong day. Or the cook is having a bad day. Everything and I mean everything but the fish was cold. But even the fish was tasteless and full of water, after it was fried. Our orders consisted of catfish plate with Mac & Cheese/green beans. The other plate was ribs and brisket with collard greens and sweet potato casserole. The meat did not fall off the bones as another customer mentioned, it was too cold for that. The only thing had flavor/taste was the pickles and small cup of bbq sauce. So $31.00 later, I wouldn’t recommend. They did however offer military discount and the young lady cashier was pleasant. I wish I would’ve followed my first mind, and returned to Momma Luv’s.

Ordered via door dash for pickup. Restaurant opens at 11-got there at 1115. Only person there was the cook, who had no idea of our order. All the lights up front were off. Somebody finally shows up at 1135 and confirms our order, but won’t be ready for another 30 minutes. Then tells us they were out of potato salad-we finally just cancelled the order.
