Staff was friendly. There was decent space to sit comfortably to eat. There are no public restrooms so not truly a dine-in spot. We ordered a calzone which was excellent, a lasagna which tasted like something from the frozen section of a grocery store, and a sub which tasted like…well your average sub. I would say the prices are slightly higher than I would expect for what you get but overall an ok meal. Nothing to write home about though.

I’ve been wanting to give this place a try and I’m glad I did. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza to keep it simple and it was better than I expected! I ate it all in about 10 minutes and that was not my plan lol. I ordered online and the food was ready at the estimated time given. I’ll be back!

Dear Daddy O, today is a sad day, today is the day we must break up. The face of you Gessner store (counter girl on 7/24/2023 ) has driven me to write this Dear John letter. I know we have been friends for along time and I visit you often but this time it’s you and not me… counter girl could not hate her job more and cares nothing about me or your good name. She has repeatedly been rude, annoyed, unbecoming, lazy and discourteous, I have given her many chances to change and the benefit of the doubt as we all have emotions and bad days unfortunately this is just who she is. In closing I will not be returning if she still works there. I can get all the Negativity from my x wife and shouldn’t have to pay for it. Just as I left my x wife I am leaving you. I wish you the best but I’m OUT!!!!

Some of the greatest pizza pies in town. A family favorite. And unlike the Dairy Ashford location, the Gessner store offers XL pizza and still accepts cash as a payment method. In addition to pizza, I strongly recommend their cheese rolls, pepperoni rolls, garlic bread, garlic dipping sauce, chicken caesar salad, and spaghetti with meatballs (not all at once though haha).

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after the park with my son. Service was fast and friendly! We were both satisfied with our pizzas! Grabbed some chocolate chip cookies as well. They were way better than anticipated. Will definitely one back.

This place has been one of my favorite pizza places for years now. When I first came here, I have to be honest, it was a bit dumpy and like a relic left over from the 80’s. But the food was really good and I continued to come for that alone but would always talk to my friend Edward that worked here and told him that a little face lift would really just make this place great. Then they renovated and did even better and opened an additional location in memorial, love that one too. But when I came in to the gessner location today I saw they had renovated the place again and it just looks so amazing. The pizza is still just as amazing as I remember and it makes me want to move back to spring branch. Just kudos to the owner and his wonderful family and staff.

I’ve always ordered the lucky 7. Ordering a drink is risky because oftentimes I never get it. Today I knew better and decided not to get the drink . I just wanted to enjoy my lucky 7 but instead this is what I received.

When we first started coming in 2020 the pizzas and hot wings were amazing. Expensive for a take out place but worth the extra. The last few times though the quality has dropped dramatically. Pizzas are bland, base tough and soggy (not sure how they manage that) and toppings meagre. The “hot” wings are not hot but coated in something that is obviously supposed to be crispy and ends up slimy. A large pizza and 10 piece wings costing $50 with tax and tip should be superb. Sorry DaddyO’s not anymore!
