What’s not to love about this coastal pizza restaurant? The kind of place you walk in to after a long day of relaxing at the beach, where the atmosphere laid-back and inviting, with an easygoing vibe. A place where the food is good and the staff feels familiar and friendly. If this sounds like your kind of restaurant, then you’re in luck because this is exactly what you’ll find at Deadrise Italian Kitchen. We love this place and eat here (at least once) anytime we’re in Cape Charles. In addition to great pizza, this restaurant serves other Italian dishes that are equally delicious! It’s family friend, but also great for date night.

Stopped in for lunch we had 6 kids 6 adults plenty of seating. The pizza was delicious the crust was thin bubble perfection. We had the titanic with jalapeño bacon. Got 3 orders of fried mozzarella at $13 for 5 count was good but not that good salads were good. Very clean and our server was great. Would have gave 5 star but had no kids menu. Definitely check this place out if your in the cape area.

Great people and mouth-watering food. A great place to wind down from the hard day’s work or relaxing on the weekend! Definitely try the delicious “Show Boat” Dead Rise Pizza with Drizzles’ 25 Star Balsamic Vinegar drizzled generously on top! Your friends & family will love this place!

They brag about their homemade pasta but should really spend more time on their sauces. Marinara tasted straight out of a jar and no spice/zest. Also my husband is a traditional spaghetti and meat sauce/ meatball man and you can only get that on kids menu! The cocktails at the bar were excellent, however and wait staff was great.

If ordering online, make sure to get everything correct because if you need to make a change to your order this restaurant doesn’t answer their phone. We wanted to change time of pick up right after placing order and after calling many times had no luck. Ended up picking up 7 cold pizzas. Just find it weird that a restaurant doesn’t answer the phone. Not normal.

Great food, great people. We love what they did during the renovation. Sorry to ding them on the service but it is hit or miss – just being honest. Just happens to be the norm for CC. I’ve had times when the staff are OnPoint. Other times the forget the customer exists or are moving to fast to hear what we want.

My first time here, although my kids and their families have been before. Very busy, and we had a long wait, but that was ok, some went shopping, while others socialized. We had a large party of 12. Food was very good, and the pizza was delicious…thin crust and and the sauce was very good. I had 2 cocktails, which were also made just right.
