My first time visit, I was there with Foodie Meet up. It was great experience. I enjoyed the shareable dishes. They are so delicious. We almost ordered every single appetizers on the menu. Because we are Louisville Foodie meetup. We meet once a month at different place to enjoy foods and take picture and video. I enjoyed the flight of wine which i ordered King Louis XIV. I will love to come back again soon

We are embarking on a brunch hunt stopping in a new state each month. This brunch was amazing. The tater tot appetizer is my new favorite thing. Pineapple upside down mimosas are a must. The Hot damn croque madam was yummmmmmy and the bananas foster french toast was out of this world. And the service was on point!!

Eat here; you can taste the pride and professionalism of the cook staff in every bite. If you also often find yourself thinking that you could have ” made something almost as good at home” like I do, you will Not have that problem here, I promise. The servers were very nice and knowledgeable without any condescension .

I used to live in Louisville and hadn’t eaten here before. I was visiting town with my boyfriend and my Plan A for brunch had an hour wait, which we weren’t feeling. I was mildly apprehensive about Lou Vino because it’s nicer and we had just finished a 2-hour hike and were dressed casually and a little sweaty. Also, I was concerned the menu might be a bit pricey. I am so glad we weren’t intimidated out of coming here. There was no wait for a table (noonish on a Sunday), and $2 nice-size mimosas! The brunch entrees were a little pricey for our norm, but the warm atmosphere, excellent and somewhat eclectic menu, and mimosa prices made it so worth it. Prompt and friendly service. Awesome food! We got a fried green tomato appetizer, crispy potato hash with salmon and dill crema, and shrimp and grits waffles benedict with both hollandaise and maple syrup. The visit was a delight. Will return.

5 stars! 6! 7! This is the best meal in Louisville bar none! Every part of the meal was fantastic I cant even put it into words. Flavorful, impactful, fun, and creative! The different techniques and flavors used made dishes that would be a turn off for some (such as brussel sprouts) seem like an exotic and luxurious meal. The restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing, with modern design and beautiful lighting. The restaurant is a bit upscale so you might want to go one step above your casual dress, a polo shirt and nice shorts seemed to be a good choice for dress in mens fashion. It was such a refreshing and eye opening experience. I believe everyone should experience q restaurant like this. Excellent.

This place is so cute, and the menu sounded so interesting. I wish I had liked it more than I did. My friend and I had got the baked Brie as an appetizer. It was way too sweet with more fruit preserves than cheese. Ok. Maybe we just had the wrong expectation. Then for the main dish, I got a wine flight and the Brussels sprouts. I was very satisfied. My friend, though, got the mushroom risotto, and it was inedibly salty. She asked the server (who I believe was a manager) to bring some plain bread so she could use the risotto more as a dip. The bread is really good by the way, but it didn’t help calm down the risotto. The server offered to remake the risotto, but my friend had already lost her appetite.

Saturday Brunch was outstanding! I greatly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict built on fried mac & cheese. My wife was very delighted with the fried green tomato BLT on a croissant. And, our waiter, Jeremiah, made it all an enjoyable experience.

To me, LouVino is the perfect first date or night out with friends. We tried the brunch and we were a bit disappointed, but the half priced mimosa pitchers were unbeatable!
