The place was really nice and comfortable. Prices are a little high, but with this economy is understandable. One must-have is their homemade whipped cream. It was beyond amazing. People are very cool and friendly and always make sure that people have what they need. Keep it up, everyone.

I was craving a good hearty breakfast, and that’s exactly what I got at Sunshine Pancake House. I ordered the chopped ham and eggs and the French toast. Everything was delicious! The French toast had the right amount of toasted edge with a soft center, it was some of the best I have ever had. The homemade whipped cream is amazing. My friend ordered eggs, ham and waffles (not pictured). She said the waffles were great too, I’ll have to try those on my next visit. The restaurant was clean, organized, and the staff was very friendly. I can’t wait to come back for another great meal. Eat up!!!

The food is amazing here! Wonderful gluten-free options! Air-conditioned and nice staff! They do prefer cash!

The best part of the experience was the omelette, took about 20 minutes to get (mentioned on the menu) and was absolutely delicious. That was the only highlight, everything is insanely expensive and the food quality was low. The syrup was so watered down it was basically soup and my pancakes didn’t retain any of it so you could taste that it was burnt. Ordered extra-crispy hash-browns and was given a crisp top but internal raw, oil soaked pile. Considering all the reviews I was very disappointed, I wont be coming here again.

I always go here on the weekend and it’s always great. A reliable restaurant with great food and great service. My favorite dishes are the banana-nut pancakes, bacon pancakes, and corn beef hash. Their signature oven baked pear pancake is amazing, but it’s enough to feed two or three people. My partner and I couldn’t finish it between the two of us, but we enjoyed every bite. Also, my partner loves the pancake waffle. Waffles aren’t my thing, but he has like every waffle he’s tried. We keep coming back, so eventually maybe we’ll have tried everything!

This was a great place that was not in the hustle and bustle part of San Diego. The staff was great and the menu had many options for all of us. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we left satisfied.

This place makes amazing breakfast! I got the buttermilk pancakes, hashbrowns, and bacon. Everything was absolutely delicious. There is plenty of parking off-street behind the restraunt. Highly recommend.
