Great little Mom & Pop restaurant. Reasonably priced. Good food. Great service. Don’t get the crab cake if you’re used to how they serve them on the Chesapeake Bay, flakes vs lump. But it was a decent inland effort. They have an outstanding ice cream selection, full of Hershey’s flavors. They even had some gluten-free flavors. We’ll definitely be back.

We tried Claire’s restaurant today for 1st time since it reopened! It was absolutely FANTASTIC! INCREDIBLE HOMEMADE RANCH, CRANBERRY SLAW, CREAM SLAW, TURKEY PLATTER, MEATLOAF, OF COURSE THE BROASTED CHICKEN IS A LONG TIME FAVORITE, EXCELLENT SPAGHETTI SAUCE, AWESOME GRILLED CHEESE & BEST HOT BROWNIE SUNDAE EVER! All the food was top notch!! We will be regulars again for sure!! Our granddaughter loved it too! Thank you for a lovely evening!

I recently dined at Clair’s and had a delightful experience overall. The Turkey Club and Tuna Melt sandwiches I ordered were absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors in both sandwiches was well-balanced and satisfying. The service at Claire’s was also top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. However, I did find the pricing a bit steep, particularly paying $22 for a sandwich and tea that didn’t even come with fries. While the quality of the food and service was excellent, I would have appreciated a more reasonable price point considering the lack of additional sides. Nevertheless, Claire’s Restaurant is definitely worth a visit for their tasty sandwiches and attentive service.

Had a great experience at Claire’s this evening. They were pretty busy but the waitress was very attentive to us. The spaghetti was delicious and the salad is big for a side salad, just how I like it. My husband had the Chicken Parm and he said it was delicious.

Had high hopes for this restaurant based upon recommendations from various employees at the UPMC hospital. Apparently these employees are lifelong residents of central PA, and as the old saying goes, you don’t know what you don’t know. Our dinner meals were stereotypical central PA over cooked, under seasoned, chewy, tough and bland. All of our food tasted to us like it came out of a can, a box, or the freezer. There was nothing that shouted to us that it was fresh, locally produced food items. The restaurant itself is in desperate need of renovations inside and outside. Our server appeared to be unkempt, and her language was very unprofessional, including her multiple references to my wife & adult daughter as “guys”. They are not guys, they are ladies.
