Quiet and pleasant atmosphere, service was quick and server was very attentive. Food was more than enough and very tasteful. Their shrimp fried rice had plenty of shrimp. They have the largest egg foo young I have ever seen! I will dine here again and I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Good not great. The portions are a little on the smaller side but the service was good and the food fresh. If the portion was a little larger and the price a little lower, they would have gotten 4 stars.

Not the worst Chinese food I’ve had, but definitely not the best. I’d give them 5 stars if they were cheaper, but since they cost nearly as much as some really good places in the Rivertowns, I can’t give them more than 3.

Food was excellent, staff was friendly and courteous. My brother who is quite young ordered the lobster, and our waiter took the time to help him (and the rest of us!) shell the lobster so that he could enjoy it. Definitely above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had been here several months ago and both the food and the service were very good. This afternoon we were very disappointed with both the food and the service. The two of us were there around 2pm and there was only one other table occupied, so the poor service was not the result of the restaurant being crowded. We both ordered the combination dinners. The Wonton Soup and the Spring Rolls were fine, however the main course left something to be desired. The dinners were not brought out at the same time. The Spare Ribs were burnt and dried out, the Pork in the Fried Rice was overcooked and dry, and my Shrimp with Lobster Sauce – while tasty – was lukewarm when served. We tried to get the attention of the waiter to get more water and after calling out three times the young waiter finally came over, but he was obviously annoyed that I had disturbed his meal. When the waiter finally came over to clear the table they asked how everything was and when we told him about the Spare Ribs the older waiter just shrugged his shoulders and took away the dirty dishes after asking us what kind of ice cream we wanted. I sincerely doubt that I will be coming back here!

I’ve been coming to Golden Wok for years now. It is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The service is always good and the food usually comes out quickly. The food itself is great. My personal favorite is the Fried Pork Dumplings, though there are many other great menu items. If you’ve never been to Golden Wok I highly recommend you try it!

I have eaten at the Golden Wok for about two years now. I am gluten free. I have never had a problem with the food. My favorite is the sesame chicken Gluten free. I have moved out of state and there is no Chinese restaurant that compares to Golden Wok. I will miss you. Thank you for being gluten free, And the staff is so nice.
