The staff here was friendly and prompt. We had 12 people dining in and ordered a lot of food. It was all delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. We ordered da swamp as an appetizer which was enough for all 12 of us to get a taste of everything.. My favorite items were crawfish, gator bites, the jambalaya rice, and their pork chops were amazing.

I’m in town visiting friends so I’ve never been here. The lady who waited on us was amazing. It was a tough day, her help called in and she still took great care of us and always had a smile on her face. Please give them a try, small businesses like these are so important. Loved the food.

In Wichita for a couple of nights. Browsing Google Maps for a nearby place to eat and ran across Da Cajun Shak. I love Jambalaya, gumbo, and red beans & rice. I’m no Cajun food connoisseur. I just like the food. Drove over and found they had a sampler option which allowed me to get two entrees (Red Beans & Sausage and Chicken Gumbo) and three sides (two jambalayas and hush puppies.) Service was friendly and fast and they tossed in some hot sauce with my order. Headed back to my hotel room to enjoy my little feast. It was really good all the way around. I would definitely recommend this place. I can eat a lot but had to make myself stop about 3/4 of the way through. Lots of food for the price ($17).

All the stars for Da Cajun Shak & Robyn! We had the gator bites for our appetizer, our first time & we loved them! For our entrées, we had the crawfish etouffee, catfish, shrimp, okra, hush puppies, dirty rice & fries. Everything was absolutely phenomenal! We even got to enjoy watching some Family Fued. We did spend a bit more than average, but that’s only because we wanted lots of leftovers. Da Cajun Shak feels like home & we will most definitely be returning!

In Wichita on business and Da Cajun Shak was suggested by my customers for lunch. Great place. Had the shrimp, fries and rice. Very good ! Just the right amount of spice for me. Will definitely eat here again !!

I’m not a person for fried or spices with a gastric bypass just done but the red beans and rice with sausage was good.. me and daughter shared and my lands I could have enough for quite some time honestly. Catfish is good had hush puppy I’m surprised it went ok honestly as BBQ sauce and ketchup has not gone well at all or anything from spangles lately…. but im glad I get to try a few new things from time to time without getting sick…. very good reasonable priced… everything I liked was good … worth trip definitely… a must try if you haven’t tried it…. they have chicken strips if you allergic to seafood. My parents love this place… it was recommended to my dad by a coworker…and it stuck for them….definitely worth it…

Sadly, I came all the way from Houston with my mouth watering for fish I used to love. Unfortunately, the fish and fries were disappointing! No seasoning whatsoever and fish was fried harder than usual. Yet, the service was outstanding! Sadly, I won’t waste my time going back next visit.
