We’re JP & Son, and we’ve been a leading Cajun restaurant here in Gadsden, AL, since 2022. Our menu features mouthwatering dishes and drinks from Louisiana, including boudin, fried chicken, and gumbo. We also have an extensive takeout menu that includes the best sandwiches around. We’re known for our Louisiana-style dining and creole cooking, but we are most known for our awesome service and flavorful food. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Gadsden and the surrounding areas. Our staff is friendly and welcoming so come on in and visit us today!

While traveling home to Cullman from Lincoln we stopped Saturday night and had supper. Everything was great. The family enjoyed the food and the service was great. It was funny Sunday when we saw the Alabama Living Magazine and realized that’s the place we stopped. Congratulations on being featured.

Had dinner. Ordered the gumbo, catfish basket and banna pudding. Wife had shrimp cakes. Meal was fresh cooked. Gumbo was regular gumbo, not seafood. Chicken and sausage, lots of rice. Ok, but a bit thin, not the best sauce. Two med sized fillets, plus small oder of fries. It was good, not great. Shrimp cakes mostly breading, not much shrimp. Banana pudding was different, nice pudding. Two small pieces of banana on top. Service good. Spent $48.00. Very overpriced for what we got.

Amazing to say the least! When you can get a catfish basket to go and when you get home and sit down to eat and the catfish basket tastes just as good as if you were there eating it (I live probably about a couple of miles from this restaurant). You know that they gotta be doing something right
