Nothing better on a warm sunny day in Syracuse then a fresh bowl of Vietnamese noodle with some grilled pork. The staff is super friendly and the Salt City Market is a super cool place to hang out. Love it there!

I tried the vegan banh mi and the vegan noodle bowl. Both were definitely decent. But, I have had better vegan banh mi elsewhere (though not in Syracuse), and I wouldn’t have gotten the noodle bowl had I known that it was served cold. The prices here are reasonable though and the lady at the counter was very nice. I have to give this place credit for having vegan options that are more than just an afterthought. If you’re looking to try Vietnamese food, but don’t eat meat, this place is definitely worth a try! And if you do eat meat, they’ve got you covered as well!

The best peanut noodles I’ve ever had! They did something to tofu that changed my life. I will eat here every time I go here. 10/10 absolutely stellar food.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in town! Mamma Hai serves authentic cuisine and my personal favorite (aside from bahn mi, of course) is their taro egg rolls!

I had the Hanoi Jane Sandwhich and the Friday Pho (vegan), and both were very tasty. It all tasted fresh as well. The sandwich was pretty long, which was nice, and they did have vegetarian options, and it was all ready pretty quickly. I would recommend visiting, the only problem is that it all cost $30 for just two things, that seems a little steep.

The lady at the counter was super nice, I told her I have one hour to drive home, and she offered to pack the soggy parts separately. I cannot wait to try these Banh Mi.

WOW this place has KILLER eats. The steamed buns we ordered were soft, warm and devoured in moments. Order anything you please. You won’t be disappointed. We already looking forward to trying their other dishes.

It took forever to get our food on a slow Sunday with no one in front of us and 4 staff members. Like 25 minutes. Even ordering took a long time. Size of food is small for what you get (we ordered the peanut bowl). That said the food tasted good but it’s hard to recommend such a long wait.

Best Bánh mì I’ve ever had and it’s not close. Already looking forward to my next trip to Syracuse. I’m not sure if they’re making the bread themselves or if it’s from a local baker but that roll is ridiculously good!
