It was a little uncomfortable at first. considering my first time going there. The atmosphere seemed off. Once service and food was served I was quite surprised. It was good. Felt more like a home cooked meal at a strangers home, and quite humble. Beans, and rice with the home made corn tortilla definitely was thumbs up. The fresh cut salad was also good. A little short on the meat side, but will definitely go back when I’m in the area.

The food was good but everything else such as customer service was off. Didn’t ask us what we wanted to drink plus when we were ready to pay, the waiter was talking on his phone and WE had to get his attention. After we finished eating, we were made aware that is was CASH ONLY. Wish we were made aware of this in the beginning or sign posted or somewhere on the menu. As a result, my bf had to run down to the atm near the corner store and grab cash. Embarrassing…
