This place operationally is a complete disaster. It’s constantly understaffed and the people working there are trying so hard and are so lovely and kind but they are just completely set up for failure. We’ve been coming here for years, even when they were just a little taco shack on Dutch Harbor and the service and quality of food has been in decline over the last few years, but our most recent visit has been the worst and we’ve sworn off this place, as well as sharing the total decline of this place with our neighbors.

This place is really nice and pretty authentic. All their tacos and quesadillas come on corn tortillas. We ordered the Nachos w/ Barbacoa, queso blanco, lettuce, quesadilla with carnitas,

We visited twice during our stay in Jamestown and was so impressed with the dishes we ordered! We used to live in California and miss the fresh Mexican food and veggies. The meat, rice, and beans were amazing as well. The churros were also incredible! While I enjoyed the pickled radishes, each time there were just a few too many slices — it sort of overpowered the dish. Still, would love to return, delicious!

Our first visit to Jamestown and happened fortuitously upon Tallulahs. Food was delicious & fresh; the margaritas were also tasty, not syrupy or over sweetened. Atmosphere is casual and low-key. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a casual spot to hang. Definitely will return when we visit Jamestown again!

Staff was friendly. Tacos were good, but all the food was cold and soggy. Nacho chips were stale and for the amount you get, way overpriced. Margaritas were strong, but lacked flavor. The flavors of the beef and pork tacos were good.

Can’t go wrong with Tallulah’s. A great family owned and operated restaurant in Jamestown and Providence. Definitely worth a trip. Tacos are awesome, as is everything else they serve.

The burritos have become like blended baby food. There was no crisp lettuce or distinctive flavors. It was like they threw the chicken, beans, rice and everything else in a blender and then placed it in a burrito. It was mush. This place use to be better.

Stopped by for a margarita, was very disappointed with the quality. For roughly a $11.50 drink it leaves a lot to be desired.

I don’t know what happened to this place. It was so good a couple years ago and the food feels thrown together and just does not taste good anymore. We keep trying but are so sad as this was a go-to spot!

Tex-Mex dinner with a dine-in wait — watch your receipt because we were one item short. This hip joint’s marketing team would have you believe it’s serving artisan food at a conservative price. As an indigenous expat of Mexico and former Texan, the food is closer to Tex-Mex than Chipotle — I just wish they marketed the food properly because the Tex-Mex is good. Pricing is cheap enough to be served at the Ganny and that’s great! After forgetting to make an item for us they wouldn’t comp us one hot sauce ($0.75). I’m sure a manager would have comped us but when you employ children with little experience you get what you get.
