Ok so this is and I hope will be my only time ever seeing this but…. While waiting for the order the cook was grabbing until of potatoes out of the metal bowl and eating them with her gloves on and then touching/plating the food. At the time I had already received my food and almost ate it all until I saw that. The food up to that moment was good but after seeing that I was a little disappointed. I guess I have always known that food handlers do that even though in food handlers classes you are not allowed I just never saw it happen!

First time in today and will definitely be back!!! The 2 gals were making the days salsa and we joked about how hot they were making it. The guy made our smoothies which I will most certainly be getting again. Overall very clean and friendly atmosphere. My only feedback is just stay open longer but still serve breakfast. I would love a breakfast for dinner kind of place since I’m not an early riser.

The food has always been good here but every time I have gone to breakfast cantina (a dozen times or so) the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for days….food on the floor, trash cans overflowing, dirty tables, etc. I ate there today with my kids and we used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. The toilet seat was dirty, the trash cans didn’t have liners in them and it smelled gross. I had a really hard time wanting to eat my tacos after seeing the state of the bathroom please, please pay attention to cleanliness! It says a lot about your restaurant. I really want to eat here but not if it’s dirty.

I never leave reviews, but felt compelled by my experience here. I want to say first of all that the food is good. Nothing exceptional, but good. I do think the prices seem way too high for what you get. I mean twelve dollars for only 2 tacos is absurd.

This is my second visit breakfast Cantina and I really wanted to like it. I ordered chicken Asada tacos. The meat was almost artificially flavored it tasted like, and some of the meat was like jerky over cooked tacos really needed a fresh element either pico or maybe some cilantro and onion. I also ordered a strawberry banana shake that tasted sour. Maybe they use Greek yogurt, but there was way too much. I couldn’t even drink it unfortunately for a $20 tab for two tacos chips and smoothie is a bit high for the quality of the food won’t be going back

This is my go-to for a burrito in the morning on my way to adventures or for lunch at work. Good sized portions, really good meat, and you get some chips and salsa with your order, even if it’s takeout! Lots of seating inside if needed.
