Came here about two weeks ago for lunch because I could smell the food from across the street, from witch I was dropping of a car to a body shop. I originally wanted three tacos de Al pastor, but I was told they were out. He suggested 4 birria tacos for 15 dollars. Best suggestion ever the tacos were stuffed with meat and cheese and the tortilla was really crisp seasoned with oil from the meat. I’m definitely making this my go to spot for lunch when in okeechobee again. And what is up with people and sour cream lol in the reviews.

I had the opportunity to finally try Taqueria Yanez this week for lunch at work. I wish I had the chance to go with my coworker to pick it up to express my liking but I think here will suffice. I remember the first time my sister and I tried their food in the comfort of their home. I am so proud that everyone gets that piece of family they showed us. Good food and good family time has always been the staple for this family. Love and family values is their foundation. Every time you get the pleasure of enjoying their dishes…take advantage! I am sure you will feel as well as taste the love and passion behind what they’re achieving. I can’t wait to have it again!

I’m doing this for a friend.. he had a baby shower and placed his order 2 weeks in advanced of what he wanted.. night before the event he received a call saying that they won’t be able to fulfill the order. My friend asked if there was anything else that he could do since he was relying on this food for the event.. he was advised that he could do birria tacos @ $3 each.. we agreed but then he said that 5 o’clock was too late and all the tacos would be sold out before then.. we asked for 12 o’clock but he said “oh no, that’s rush hour”… we suggest that if your doing an event to take this review into consideration and not get stuck in a bad situation like we did. Not a very professional way of doing business. Not reliable.

They had no sour cream , no cabeza, no Barbados and no lengua especially. The food was good but I wish it had some sour cream in my gordita and some on my enchiladas.
