I got three tacos – chicken, carne asada, & carnitas. The carnitas was fine, just a little under-seasoned. Chicken was meh. The carne asada is what kinda confused me – it was more similar to ground beef and tasted kind of dry and old. I’m not a picky eater but I couldn’t eat it. 🙁 maybe this place is a better experience if you’re a vegan?

Great Mexican food options for vegans. Warning: if you ask for no (vegan, or not) sour creme, you are almost guaranteed to find sour creme on your dish, so make sure you double check your to-go orders. I have been to the various locations around Portland hundreds of times over the years, and this is a consistent problem at all locations.

Simply the best vegetarian and vegan tacos in Portland. I didn’t have high hopes for the onion tacos (based on the description), yet they were so damn good! There’s limited outdoor seating available too! They also offer six different types of salsa -the ones I sampled were very fresh. I highly recommend this place!

Great menu! I am extremely picky with food, especially a chorizo breakfast burrito and I can say this is one of the best I’ve had in the entire portland and portland metro area. Their salsas have their own simple menu to help describe ingredients and flavors, and they are all super delicious! Definitely coming back here!
