Had the Brisket and Cheddar Meat Pie. It was delicious. The donuts are the best I have ever had. Try the Lemon donuts, you will thank me. Enjoy!

Lots of potential to be great take away store; BUT this is absolutely NOT a pub, and certainly NOT a British cafe. It’s principally an order counter with a 3-seat eating bench at the front of the store.

But of an odd setup but ok. The pub chip shop/donut shop is allegedly owned by the same people who own Piper’s next door, which has I guess been closed for awhile. Explains why strikingly similar food appears on neighboring menus.

I knew this place had to be good when I saw their homemade donuts sold out (you’ll have to get there early enough!)

Lovely place, food made on order so always fresh, get ready to wait up to few minutes for some good stuff. As an English man that loves fish and chips, I can say that it’s worth it, the chip is not a proper English thick cut but it gets pretty close to it and it taste amazing!

Tried this place today with co-workers. Most of us ordered Fish & Chips (Tartar), some also ordered the Mac & Cheese. To begin the place is a nice setup, and very friendly staff. The food came out quickly and hot which was nice, and the presentation of the fish & chips was lovely. Only negative which may have just been today, the fish was lacking flavor, and the Tartar was mostly Mayo, didn’t sense any dill in it. Co-worker said the Mac & Cheese could’ve had more cheese, but that’s his opinion. The $13 price is also fair, but expected a bigger portion of fish or a lot more chips. This rating was just todays visit, I may return one day and maybe the flavors will be there.

Extremely friendly stuff, fresh food, legit fish and chips. Generous portions. But only to go. Thai chili tacos were really good! And they even offer Halaal chicken. Nice place to stop by.

Regulars. The food is typically good (sometimes only okay, depending on the day’s batter), as are the staff (they are less dependent on the batter), but in 2023, when the shop has a website and linked social media sites, a phone number (which has never had a recording on off hours, see again: 2023), and (one assumes) foreknowledge of things that aren’t emergencies or sudden staffing issues (since we were there a week ago and nothing was posted in writing in the shop — full disclosure, I only have my husband’s word on that), it shouldn’t take a handwritten sign in the window to find out a business is on vacation until August 2nd. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It’s so good I had to write this review as I eat, I’ve only had the food here twice but it’s amazing how good it is at the low prices. This time, I got the Thai Chili Fried Chicken box and the Welsh mac n cheese. I’m so happy with the portion sizes, the fried chicken is very good and the Mac n Cheese is awesome, it’s also very creamy. The staff is relaxed and cool too ✌

The food is really good, there’s just no place to eat it. There are only three stools at the front window. If you want take-out, I’m sure it’s fine, but I wouldn’t go here if you want a place to sit down and eat.
