Our favorite Chinese restaurant! Very good for SE Idaho! Not skimpy on the sauces. Very large menu- something for everyone. Prices are fair for the large amount of food you get! Our favorites are the Crab Rangoon and Mandarin Chicken.

Fongs is inexpensive, so that’s nice. But I feel like the quality isn’t quite there. Food is heated unevenly sometimes. I think there is better spots out there for Chinese.

Charged $12.99 for the lunch menu that cost $9 at dinner time. Had a little more sweet and sour pork without rice. They usually charge 6.25. Not happy! Never had to pay that must before.

People were friendly. And this review just may be a personal one because I’m from the Midwest and the Chinese food here is NOT Chinese at all compared to what I’m used to. 2nd place I’ve tried and both were disappointing. The chicken at these places is an American sliced chicken breast. The only sauce you get was a cup of sweet n sour when I ordered sesame chicken. Maybe this is the norm for Chinese in idaho, but I’m very confused by it. Doesn’t even look or taste like Chinese food. Back home they cook in a wok and all dishes have very specific sauces.

Chinese food doesn’t get better than this in Rexburg. I love their Szechuan chicken and crab rangoons. Portions and prices are just right. What more can you ask for? Their homemade sweet and sour sauce is so good on literally everything, I could drink it straight up.

The food here is definitely more American than Asian. Our server was very nice and helpful. There was a spider on our soy sauce bottle, so that raised some concern with the cleanliness of everything.

I was pleasantly surprised eating here. I’d heard a lot of different things about Fongs. I genuinely enjoyed the food!! Their lo mein is delicious. The hot and sour soup smacks. The portions were huge. I would highly recommend, especially over Panda Express. The only downfall was it was a bit pricey? My husband and I spent $46 dollars for the two of us…but I’m also cheap so it might not be that bad. Overall, you should definitely give it a try. We’ll be eating here again!!
