This is rated #2 after Tortuga’s, Princeton, you can do better! We ordered nachos but you’d never know based on what arrived at our table. This soppy mess had no flavor or texture and was topped with strips of wet lettuce and thin, bland chicken. There were no jalapeños or seasoning of any kind detectable. We needed a side of chips to eat the little bit we tried because the soft, wet ones under the goppy mess were unable to hold anything on them. So very disappointing, will not return.

I love Taste of Mexico! Your order, takeout or sit down, comes with fresh chips and salsa – Guacamole is also fantastic. I switch between the cheese enchiladas with mole sauce, pork tamales, and shrimp burrito. Most, if not all, entrées come with rice and beans. Quick service for takeout or a sit down experience! Also, try the tres leches cake (sells out quick).

Really yummy food and comes out promptly. I come here all the time and it’s my favorite place on Nassau street. The employees are also very nice and attentive. Best part: they’re very vegetarian friendly!

Love this place. Great food, satisfying portions, and these days it can be difficult to find all that for a $20 lunch! But not here! You won’t regret it one bit!

Absolutely terrible. I ordered vegetable fajitas, and there were basically no veggies in my meal, just rice and beans. I mistook it for a side order when I first opened the box. To make matters worse, I’m allergic to broccoli, which constituted about 2/3 of the few vegetables in there. I would have listed my broccoli allergy when I ordered, but I have never in my life seen a fajita with broccoli in it (or spinach for that matter). The icing on the cake was that the order was delivered with beans spilled all over the bag. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was such a colossal let down that I can’t in good conscience let people get shafted the way I just was.

The place is ok, very small, food is also ok. I had the bistek tampiqueño, the steak is just very tasteless, rice and beans are ok. One of my two children liked his burrito de chorizo, and my daughter didn’t like her fish tacos.

We were regular costumers. One day (we were not dining in), I needed to use their restroom. We are used to the great hospitality of all restaurants in Princeton, but at this place the young man in the front refused to let us in. We were really disappointed, they just lost a good costumer!

Authentic mexican food. Nice place and not heavy on your pocket though its located in princeton. Excellent vegetarian friendly food. All the items we ordered were well stuffed with all veggies and not only cheese.

Well priced, with a diverse menu and large portions, but the food is tasteless. Amongst the four of us we tried the steak tacos, steak burrito, shrimp burrito, and a shrimp and veggie platter. The tacos had nothing but meat and tortilla, the burritos were stuffed with 3 lbs of rice and beans and an ounce of protein. The platter looked pretty but the veggies were soggy and it all just lacked taste.

Excellent services and low prices for the area. Food was not what my favorite based on what I was used to, maybe a regional thing or too authentic for my Americanized palate. Pozole was excellent, burrito texmex was good. Plastic plates a bit of a turnoff.
