Friday night and only one waitress had shown up for work. The place was full but waitress was friendly, fast and super efficient. I love a all town diner and this one did not disappoint. Salad bar was fresh and delicious, the decor was simple but fun. I always have to order chicken fried steak at a local diner and this was as good as any I’ve ever eaten and as big as my face. Too big to finish and the potatoes were real with a delicious, slightly spicy white gravy.

Worst dinner ever, horrible service, huge wait for food and to get seated, not a friendly staff. You can clearly see that they are not prepared to serve more than 2 persons and it’s a touristy town because of Bryce and they can’t scale.

Not many choices in town. This place seemed to be more popular. Glad we stopped by. Biscuits and Gravy are huge and worth every penny. Next time I want to try this ridiculously large cinnamon bun!

Okay food, expensive place! Considering that isn’t many options near by this is a okay restaurant! Waitress was super polite and friendly! Don’t get the mashed potato, the gravy is terrible, go with the French fries!!! We paid about $40 for two sandwiches and two coffees…

Stopped in here after spending the day hiking around Zion NP, it was worth the drive. I got the Flying M club sandwich, very filling, dipped it in ranch and regained all the calories I’d lost earlier in the day. Then we really topped things off with bread pudding a la mode. The patrons and staff were fun to talk to and listening to their stories was a great way to end our trip to southern Utah.

So you are gonna show up, and it’s a little run down, a bit old. They will only have one waitress, serving everyone, chatting it up with each table. You will see the menu and it will look pretty simple. Takes a while to get your order. Your expectations will be low. YOU WOULD BE WRONG. Food is great! And reasonably priced! Unlike if you stay near Ruby’s inn or Escalante. The waitress is polite, has great advice, and never forgets a single part of your order ,or to refill your coffee. So glad we stopped by here!

After the thrilling vistas coming east over the range on Hwy 89, we were happy to find a restaurant open on Sunday here. We thought we were settling for what was available. Instead, we were treated to excellent comfort food: hot turkey sandwich for me with plenty of meat, and a huge chili size for my spouse with a side of chicken tortilla soup. All around us along the wall were vintage whiskey bottles. 27 Lionstone whiskey statues are displayed, along with a mixed selection of others. A quick check on eBay showed the Lionstone bottles alone are worth around $700 $800. We’ll drive on down the road replete, with some new memories for our local explorations.

Our food is good, our children loved their chicken fingers. It’s typical american food. Kinda pricey for a small town, paid the same price in Vegas restaurant. The difference between them is the excellent customer service in which I dont mind paying extra. The guy Aaron, is the all around person. Cool guy and very personable. Would definiyely get back when were in the area.

One of the only restaurants open during the off season. Huge portions, fast service, good food. Will be back.

To clarify, Flying M Restaurant is no longer. It is Desert Grill (they are one and the same) the waitress confirmed that Flying M was bought out about 2 years ago.
