Better than I recently had IN New Orleans! Seafood gumbo has a whole crab, shrimp, sausage AND 2 pieces of chicken, quite filling. Cornbread is tops. Bit of a wait but well worth it!

Everything here was so good. The corn bread was like a dessert, the sweet potatoes incredible, the chicken, catfish, everything so tasty. Even the rice and beans… everything was seasoned so deliciously. The owner was a real nice guy too. Glad we stopped in here for dinner while passing through town.

There food was awesome! Two of us shared the gumbo, cajun fried chicken with beans and rice, potato salad, 7 cheese mac n cheese, and banana pudding. The only recommendation for them… with to-go orders, they should wrap the banana pudding with plastic wrap. A lot of plastic wrap. The taste was fantastic, but in the rise home it spilled everywhere.

First time going won’t be the last. The food was amazing. I had the shrimp alfredo, my son had red beans and rice and fried chicken, my fiance had gumbo with greens. Nothing like it in town .worth the money home made. An you will for sure have some to take home most try !!!!

Local friends suggested this stop. Staff were very nice and personable. It’s a very small place with just 2 people working, but that small wait was Worth It!! Got the Chicken Po-Boy and the Potato salad. The Chicken was seasoned to Perfection! Potato salad was creamy and good.
