Very good food and quick service. I got the vegan bowl, which includes falafel, roasted cauliflower, veggies, and I got a mix of yellow rice and arugula salad. The difference between bowl and plate is that the plate comes with pita and is $2 more.

We asked Falafel Boy to cater our party and they were absolutely amazing.

I love Falafel but most times it is a chore finding a place that makes them the right way. Sometimes they are too dry, sometimes too crunchy etc. At Falafel Boy I was pretty happy with my meal. I just got a Falafel wrap and the flavors and textures were good. The only issue I had was with the wrap itself. It was very tough and took me out of the experience. I would be willing to give it another shot though, given how good everything else was.

Food was incredible and fresh from the start. The people who work there hate their jobs tho. As long as they don’t spit on it or are ruder then another place in Oakland. I’m good

The chicken kebab plate is a favorite. Comes with 2 kebabs, rice, coleslaw, hummus, and pita bread. It is a good portion size and tasty. They grill the kebabs, the coleslaw is tangy and delicious, and the hummus is the best I’ve had. If you’re a hummus fan, they also offer hummus to go. Favorite place in Oakland for Mediterranean food.

Ok, I loved this place. BUT! I am sitting in my car, eating my leftovers from last night and I FOUND A HUGE BUG IN MY BOWL I almost never post reviews but I had to because I am so grossed out. This bug is enormous. I will never eat there again.

Try shawarmaji instead, more authentic in my opinion. There’s no way the pita they use can be considered ‘authentic’. I grew up in a Arab/Mediterranean community and this just isn’t it.

I used to love this place, but in the last few months their plates went up by $2 and they stopped including falafels in them! Why raise the price AND take out one of the main ingredients?? Disappointing!
