The restaurant emanated a wonderful ambiance, complemented by the warm and friendly servers. The food exceeded expectations, with a swift and satisfying dining experience. Opting for brunch, I found immense pleasure in their Egg Benedict, while the pandan fried Okra dish surprised me with its unique twist. Adjacent to the restaurant, the petite bakery held its own charm, offering intriguing selections. Overall, the experience was delightful leave a lasting impression and would recommend.

Really enjoyed dining here. Attentive servers and the food was excellent! Lot of good choices and everything looked amazing! Made it hard to choose, because you want to try everything! Their bakery next door has really good offerings also. Check them out after dinner, if you don’t already order desert. The decor is also really nice.

Staff is super duper friendly!! Food is amazing, like how my mom, grandma, and the ladies at the Vietnamese churches make it. The food is authentic but approachable, unique, but not pretentious, cozy, and exciting!

Awesome experience at Dinette! They are very aware of allergies and the server even asked while she was taking our order if there were any allergies and let me know what would not fit my dietary restriction (I am gluten free & almost the entire menu is safe). We tried the Hanoi egg rolls, pho nachos, Vietnamese grilled pizza & Vietnamese Benedict(from the brunch menu). Our water & iced tea were kept refilled and everything was delicious! Hope to come back soon!

We went for an early dinner and there was plenty of room. There started to be more people closer to regular dinner time. Parking may be a bit difficult as the plaza is cramped.

Excited for more Vietnamese restaurants in the Heights! I like how they offer picked veggies for the table. Pretty ingenious. The meatballs from the brunch skillet were sooo good!! Great flavor. Wish there was a bit more bread for all the meat and eggs. The Vietnamese pizza was just okay, I was not used to the cheese because I usually have it without. The beef skewers were good, but I wish the dipping sauce was more like the traditional sauce with pineapple and anchovies bc that is what gives the flavor. Overall, pretty good! Hope to visit again and try other things.

Upscale Vietnamese with a club bar like feel. The food is elevated with unique flavors. The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere can feel like a club bar when it gets busy. It’s good for a group celebrating something or before going hard at a real club. It’s not for a quiet dinner with young kids. There’s some regular tables but, between the high tops and bar seating they are catering to the younger crowd that want to be at a bar and eat at the same time. Parking is extremely difficult. The front lot is small, shared between a number of restaurants and businesses and the spaces are tight. There’s a back lot, but that might only be for the crawfish place.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is outstanding, the space is beautiful, and most importantly the food is both inventive and delicious. If you’re looking for a fresh take on classic Vietnamese and southeast Asian dishes, there’s not a better place I can think of than Dinette.

I was surprised to see this place so slow on a Saturday night, but we enjoyed the experience. Meri the bartender makes some of the best drinks we’ve had. She’s super sweet and authentic and her personality is so great! This place is so cute and quaint. The food was okay. I didn’t like the fried bahn beo or the hushpuppies. I did like the shrimp fried rice and the drinks. I love the reverse happy hour. I would definitely go back for the drinks and would recommend this cute establishment for a quiet evening.
