I went here for the first time today. The lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. I did a build your own bowl, side order of plantains, and 1 chicken empanada fried. Everything was amazing! The bowl is flavorful and makes you feel good about what you’re eating. Super fast service! Didn’t take a pic of the empanada because i devoured it in the truck!

We ate dinner here tonight, and without a doubt, it may become one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville. The chicken was so moist and beautifully roasted. We all ordered different sides, and could not decide which we liked best. The chaufa rice was a hit with everyone and the soup was definitely homemade and delicious. The sauces for the chicken and sides were some of the best we have ever had and they should bottle those and sell them. We got a pitcher of sangria to split among the four of us which came with chips and homemade salsa for only $16. The sangria rivaled any sangria from upscale bars. We definitely will be coming back quite often.

Coming from Atlanta, GA my son insisted that we eat chicken while in Kentucky as it has always been something on his bucket list to do and we are very pleased to have driven past Carali’s and look at the reviews for the reviews are very accurate! Carali’s didn’t disappoint! This was a great experience for both of my children and myself included. While we had zero intentions to visit the fast food chain that inspired my teenager, we were happy to have our hearts set on eating chicken while in Kentucky. Although, I am certain there may be countless places the locals love here, we work in ministry and were limited on time in between leadership conferences. Thank you Carali’s for such a wonderful experience . Very clean atmosphere, clean/healthy food, as well as patient and helpful staff as we tried to decide what to order. Would definitely recommend this place.

Love this place. However, lately the chicken has been a tab bit too salty. To the point I can only eat the inside. Not the skin. I think this may be due to a heavy handed employee. The chaufa rice is absolutely amazing as well as the salad. My husband enjoys the fries. Definitely recommend.

Other than sauces, the overal quality of food in this establishment has significantly degraded since it originally opened. I used to love stopping here when I didnt have time to make a full meal at home and order the rotisserie chicken but eveytime I visit something is off, from general carving/presentation skills to the overally seasoning/flavor. During my latest visit, the carving and portions provided was hilariously sloppy – instead of recieving two chicken breasts I recieved one and a half. Other than the salads, sides aren’t “fresh”… more like “freshly frozen” then either baked, steamed or deep fried to order. Really hope this place turns it around!

One of a kind find! The chicken here is just fantastic. It’s always fresh off the rotisserie and so juicy! Their sauce that is a light pink/orange color, tastes like a sweet mayo and goes on anything. My family LOVES this place. A must stop when we have friends and family in town.
