My local and go to Mexican restaurant was Laredos. The food generally is good, however, they recently changed their menu spiking prices from an $8.99 lunch entree turning to $14.99. Inflation is terrible but I feel that was more than it should have been. That prompted me to try this restaurant and I was so pleasantly surprised how good it was. The food is authentic, simple, very good, and not crazy expensive. They even give grilled chicken in their Enchilada’s! Most of the time resturants go with shredded chicken because it cost less. I am now a regular customer. Thank you!

One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. We ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla, the chicken was so flavorful, never had such juice and flavor packed chicken quesadilla. Definitely recommend. The food came out very quick. Overall this is a nice mom and pop restaurant with authentic Mexican food.

How to tell if any Mexican restaurant is the real deal: (1) they have huaraches or sopes on the menu, and/or (2) the tacos have cilantro/onions by default. Fast and friendly service, great basic lunch spot. Tried tripa, pastor, and good old asada, all good. If you like heat ask for the spicy salsa, it was yummy caliente.

After 37 minutes of waiting on two plates of nachos, when we received them the first time they were both incorrectly made, then the second time they brought them out they were severely cold.

Nachos has the BEST salsa you can find anywhere! Especially the avocado salsa. I love the tacos! I get them with cilantro and onions and add lime, hot sauce, and salsa. The food is always fresh. There are 2 locations – one at the Corner of Jiles and Cherokee and another on Chastain Corners.

Almost zero meat in this burrito. A creepy crawly joined us on the table. No thanks. Will not return.

1st time trying, food was delicious! However I more than likely will not be returning. The big lady that works there was extremely rude. She announced our food and when we headed to the counter, proceeded to walk past us not once but twice and it wasn’t until we sat back down the gentlemen that took our order called us back up to get the food. That was extremely poor customer service even if she had a thought that it wasn’t our food she should have confirmed.

Ordered grilled chicken nachos and it was like a cool game called “find the 3 small pieces of chicken in the not flavorful nachos with 3 paper thin slices of avacado.

Very authentic. You know it’s good bc a lot of Latino people eat here. Not like that white washed chain restaurants. Sauces are incredible highly recommended.
