This is one of those places you visit because it’s the local neighborhood diner; where the dining room looks like it hasn’t been updated since the Reagan years; the waitresses all know you by name and know your usual order; and where you know the patrons are all the same people from the neighborhood that have been coming here weekly for decades.

My family comes to this restaurant very often. But today the waitress was so sweet and has a conversation with my son about sprinkles on pancakes. My son Elias ecstatic to think they listened to his comment and was going to see about ordering sprinkles. The food is always so good, fresh and very cheap. We would recommend this place to anyone. It’s small but homey. Feels like my grandma is in the kitchen cooking. When family comes in to visit we always come to Broken Yolk. Thank you ladies for your great service and food.

Always check what you’re being charged!! I have been here 3 different times now because I live so close to it and each time I was overcharged significantly. Food is okay and service is decent. I just wish they would stop overcharging or at least change the prices on the menu to reflect what they actually want to charge.

A small town feel and carring people who work here. The food seems as if it home cooked and very delicious. They have real grits, and the food portions are well worth your money, only a few items over 10 bucks. Highly recommended.

We had a western omelet and over medium eggs. Food was very good. My home fries were as good as I’ve had at a breakfast resteraunt. Food was hot, coffee fresh, and prices excellent. They could’ve been a little more attentive on coffee refills.
