Y’all we pulled off of I40 for rest stop at an Exxon and while waiting on family to come out, I look over to my left and see this BBQ restaurant! Lord how mercy it turned out to be the best stop on our road trip, per divine intervention! We got pie, catfish, onion rings, ribs! And the slaw yall was perfect!!! The owners were exceptionally nice and friendly! If we did not have to drive on home, I would have stayed and talked some more! Refreshing conversation, the food was delicious and just overall a wonderful experience!

Very friendly! Greeted as we walked in. We had the catfish dinner with onion rings, coleslaw and it came with bread. We also had the brisket dinner with coleslaw, baked beans, and it came with a toasted bun. We got ribs and rib tips to go. I’m sure they will be just as good! Thank you for a delicious meal.

The place from the inside is missing some decoration and maintenance l. But the food is amazing. Little restaurant good food for sure. The ribs fall from the bone. The coleslaw amazing and the beans wow.

Hole in the wall place for sure! That’s not a bad thing of course. We came during a slow time, so got to chat with the owner and she was extremely nice. The decor is what you expect from a locally owned hole in the wall. Tons of seating and AC that actually kept it comfortable. The food is the star. It arrived fast, hot, and fresh. I had the large pulled pork sandwich and fries. The coleslaw on the sandwich was outstanding. When we stop through again, I will definitely ask for less BBQ sauce and more of that delicious slaw. The fries were crispy and hot, but could use some seasoning salt! My spouse had the chicken meal. They devoured their plate but was hoping the spicy BBQ was a little hotter. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by on your way.

Stopped in on my cross country road trip from NYS. I don’t love the crowds of the cities especially on hot days while traveling with my dogs. This spot was serendipitous as I had googled literally “road side bbq” about 3 miles away! Casey behind the counter was extremely kind and lovely to chat with. I got the catfish and a brisket sandwich with hot bbq – delicious and perfectly sated my bbq craving!

Wanted to have BBQ close to the highway and found this place doing a search. My 45 year old sister had broken her ankle and could not walk or move much at all. I was driving her to home California. When we arrived a very sweet lady saw our situation helped us into the restaurant. She held doors open and cleared a path for us. We got two beef plates. The beef was perfect and the sauce was amazing. What I did not expect was the best onion rings I have ever tasted. The same nice lady chatted with us for about 10 minutes after we finished our lunch. She then helped us get back to our car and helped me pull up to load my sister back in. It was the complete experience you picture in your mind of a roadside BBQ restaurant. Thank you so much for the wonderful short time we spent with you!

The BBQ was delicious. I got two plates of Half rack ribs. In one pic I forgot to take the pic ate nearly half the ribs. The best ribs I’ve ever had anywhere. I drive the 40 regularly from Cali all the way to Tennessee before going up to PA. I’ve tried BBQ from all over the country and this is hands down the kind of spot I’ve been looking for. The meat is literally falling of the bone.

This place needs no accolades or praise. You will see the awards when you walk in. The food will speak for itself. Set off the Interstate I40, it never looks busy from the road during the day. From the moment you walk through the double doors (push foyer pull), you’re transported back in time. The place has metal chairs and tables. The waitress at the counter gives you a ticket for your order even if you’re the only one there. If you use a card to pay, it will be thru dial-up internet. The cook in the back will sometimes have to hang up the back phone. The food tastes like your someone cooked it at your favorite relatives’ home. The workers act like family. Just outside West Memphis, stop and have the experience while you can. PS catfish is fresh and so good.
