I visit this location when I go to uab in Birmingham. It is the BEST Popeyes Ever. I live in Florida panhandle and we have several locations here tried them all and they are trash especially the Panama city locations. I even called corporate on multiple locations. I very disappointed that this store is closed. Our food is always Hot and delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Please re open this location before October 8th 2023. We are going through there and also stop going and coming home. I even told corporate they needed to send the employees from this location to Florida panhandle to train all locations here how to cook. You can verify that from my call about the locations in Florida.And the racist comments below make me sick. Our world is so messed up already. God doesn’t like ugly. I will say prayers for those who wrote nasty things about the workers at this location.

(someone who worked here) It is truly disgusting about the things you guys can and will say about a place based of the workers. i have read some of the most racist and absolutely disgusting things on these reviews. we may have been slow i apologize, people can’t seem to realize that chicken can’t sit out for more than an hour or else it becomes a potential hazard. we had to constantly drop fresh chicken so those long waits you wonderful people waited on was us dropping chicken. it’s unfortunate when 1 person negative to a restaurant can affect the whole company. we were constantly short staffed im sorry when you get home from your perfect 9-5 job you expect every other environment to be like that. even when you know most of the staff is teenagers. i’m not saying we were perfect but please stop being so closed minded. i know i worked my hardest as a 16 year old to move quickly on my own to hand batter and flour every piece of chicken you guys wanted im thankful i had such an amazing job with such amazing people at my age. now for people saying we were closed due to people of color. you are honestly a disgusting human being i wish i knew who you were honestly and if i could reply to what you said and have a conversation with you i would love that. popeyes was an amazing first job for me even though every single day without fail someone wasn’t happy with the service, we were a family up there and we did what we could to provide the food we all know and love. at the end of the day i hope the 4 piece you waited on was the best chicken you have had. and always remember if the food is to “mediocre” for your taste buds then go to churches. thank you for reading and it’s 2023 people, racism isn’t funny or cute!

Food was good, but new facility was in disarray. It looked like the inside was sprayed down with a water hose and never mopped up. The wettest floors I’ve ever seen. Washed my hands when I arrived and the bathroom pictures speak for themselves. It was still like that after I ordered, ate my food and took a final look. At least an employee warned me as I entered the restaurant that the floors were slippery. Try using a mop! There was something sprayed and stuck all over the chairs and walls and the sink was filthy. Great potential if they learn how to remove excess water. I love my Popeyes, but those floors were dangerous.

Was in drive through for 45 min one night and tried to call inside the building while I was waiting outside for my food and nobody would pick up the phone at all. Tired to walk inside the lobby to check on my order ; mind you I “placed a order of food for over 40$ “and the lobby was closed. It was not even 8:00 pm. I was very disappointed.

Sat at the window for over 15 minutes and was never even greeted. Order was wrong and the lady at the window was more worried about the gossip she was screaming inside to her co worker than she was my order. Nor did she care she had me sitting at the window while she so rudely continued to look the other way each time I tried to get her attention. Asked for order back which baffled my because in no way is that sanitary at all. I really hope this can be fixed because my family absolutely loves popeyes.

Tried to stop for food at 1243pm on a Saturday. No one was in line at drive thru but the attendant told us to wait. 5 min later… Still told to wait. Honestly, assuming she wasn’t interested in working so we eventually took the hint and moved on to somewhere else.

Doors locked at 6pm. My vehicle is too tall to go through the drive thru. Two people didn’t look like employees hanging at the counter talking and one of them motioned for me to go away. So I did. I won’t come back to this store.

Tried to dine in as we were traveling and felt it would be easier to eat in. Doors were open but huge puddle on one side of dining area and they said we couldn’t order take out or dine in had to go through drive thru. Placed order and meal was incorrect. The young lady at the window was very sweet and kind but the rest of the experience was less than satisfactory.

Very disappointed by both the food and service at Andalusia Alabama location.. Placed order on line and went to pick it up. Went in store, no one working at counter to take orders or greet customers. Waited about 3 minutes before someone came to counter. Then just looked at me. Told him I had order online to pick up. Got order at last but hold time he was bagging it, every other word was “shit”. Got home was missing coleslaw from order. The food was very poor compared to what we have gotten from other stores. I will never go back to this location.
