If you’re a momo lover and love Indian style street food with Chinese flavors especially like Manchuria 65 and stuff, this is the place for you. Loved spicy momo’s a lot. As we ordered several items but we repeated their spicy mom two times.

I got the steam chicken and fried chicken momo and both were extremely tasty! The texture of both were phenomenal as well. I had only ordered the steam ones but I finished them and had to get the fried! The woman I talked to was very friendly as well. Highly recommend trying it out. OH and the this orange sauce was great 🙂

The pic I took does not do the momos ANY justice. Easily the best momos I’ve ever had! They were so fresh and so good!! Could not stop eating. I got ALL the vegan options they had and seriously they were all fantastic!

The Momos are easily the best I’ve had. I had the Chili Chicken Momo and it was the right amount of flavor and heat. You can always add more heat if that’s your thing. I will be back to try the Jhol Momos next

One of the best momos I have ever tried in the United States. I have traveled to different states and tried momos there but this one is next level. It has the authentic taste of Nepal enriched with Himalayan herbs and species. You must give a try!

Me and a friend showed up from out of town to Austin for an event, and found Monk’s Momo opened at 6. We showed up to the truck lot, where maybe 6 trucks were parked and the only one opened already was Monks, so points for punctuality on the owner’s part! we had one of each momo, and they were all incredibly flavorful and fresh, especially the chilli momo! I was extra impressed by the texture of the fried ones. The owner was very friendly and humble. At about $10 per plate of dumplings, the portions were very reasonable, though not large. Me and my friend shared 3 plates and were quite satisfied. If we stop in Austin’s downtown again, we are sure to come back!

There are around four places in Austin that serve vegetaria momo’s and this is second to none. I’ve been having Veg Kothey (Pan fried) momos that are not on the menu from here for a few years now and OMG totally love them !!!
