If your looking for great food,stop here. Was there on Saturday and the food definetly didn’t disappoint. Guy at the counter and his mom were super charismatic and charming. Fish was a little overseasoned but still tasted great. Will definetly be back for the corn bread,fresh made tea and the collared greens.

This place has great reviews and you can see they have regulars. So I am going to return and assume that I caught them on a bad day. The green beans were delicious. The mac and cheese had no cheese. For a medium sweet potatoes side I had two sliced sweet potatoes in my dish. The sweet potato pie tasted like corn syrup. I am assuming the quality varies.

So for 10$ I got a 2pc chicken platter with 2 sides! Portions are amazing but they food ? Let me tell you somethingggg, even BETTER! Chicken was seasoned to the bone! The mac was perfect! Not oily like most places, rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned! No complaints. This will be my new favorite lunch place! Hospitality is also amazing.

I was excited to see a new eatery located in the valley mall food court. I ordered the 2 piece fried chicken with green beans and fried potatoes. Everything was made to order and was homemade. I absolutely enjoyed my meal and I am happy to support a family owned business.

Was totally disappointed, got the ox tails and was nothing but bones and sauce not to mention the wings were sogy.. Definitely a waste of time and money in my opinion. Maybe your experience may be better. They lost my business
