I ordered a meal and was excited about it. I love Jamaican food. But this food was not seasoned at all. I ended up asking my hotel for salt, pepper and hot sauce to try to make it edible. I was able to save the greens, but the rest had to go. I don’t know if they think people in this area don’t like flavorful food or what.

I’ve gotten lunch from here the last four times, now. It might sound weird, but as soon as I had a bite, it was like a warm hug. The rice and peas, collards, cornbread, and yams were all delicious- no complaints. I’m used to my jerk chicken being a little drier, and that was nothing compared to how tasty it was. This is now my go-to comfort food.

So I work and travel. I was wanting a home cooked meal for a minute and everyone has been failing, in all states. Well not yall!! Oh my oh my, it was all great! IM A FOODIE! I got the jerk chicken with rice, yams and greens. It was so good that I wanted to “smack my mama.” LOL, but seriously thank you for reminding my belly of what GREAT FOOD TASTE LIKE!! I LOVE IT!! I’m coming in and sitting next time. My plate was still hot!!

All I can say is WOWWWW WHAT A DELIGHTFUL TREAT. I was ethically island seasoned and full of flavor. I recommend this to everyone. The portion was significantly more than I expected. One bite instantly had me forwarding it to my family chat line and text to so many of my friends. When I say AMAZING FOOD I MEAN EXACTLY THAT… I/we will be ordering on Saturday work lunch for sure. Great food! If you are in the area and want a true meal of soul food…. Look no further. The Jerk Chicken and the Curry Goat are delicious. The corn bread will give you flash backs to grandma’s cooking, and the cabbage is delectable. I’d give them more stars if I could.
