The shrimp are severely over cooked, the potato salad is too sweet & the Mac & cheese taste like it’s boxed. Then they have the nerve to give you tartar sauce in packets. I will never go back to this establishment. This food is inedible & have the audacity to charge $24 for this disaster. Don’t waste your money here. Next time go to Sugar Hill Fish Place, that’s where I would have went but they’re closed on Sundays.

Taste of seafood is the best I have ever had. Wherever I visited and I might have dabbled in some seafood, it has still fallen short of taste of seafood, even though it may have been awesome since I was a young fella and my mother brought tasty seafood home it has been the goat since that day, nothing has changed in all these years, and if you don’t believe me, give it a shot if it doesn’t meet your expectations or what this review suggest, email me and I’ll owe you a meal.

This is supposed to be a fresh order. I called and they said bring the order back. This is the second order. The French fries are still under cooked and very greasy and the shrimp are very greasy. There’s no way this order was fresh when everything is almost cold, no heat coming from the food whatsoever. Not worth the price paid.

I visited this location in early September 2022. I’m glad they reopened on 125th. Whenever I’m in the mood some fried whiting this is the place to go. They are honest about their whiting fish and not just pass on tilapia as whiting as other seafood restaurants I’ve visited in the past has done. Their whiting fish is also filet as I want to enjoy my food and not have to worry about picking out the bones. This location is not a dine in restaurant. You order you food and go. The sides are also delicious, I’ve had the baked macaroni and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, and corn bread. They have a variety of items on their menu including desserts. The restaurant is cash only. If you don’t happen to have cash on you there is an ATM located inside. The Restaurant is also accessible via public transportation.

Nice place for a take out order of seafood greats. Salmon, fish and chips, cat fish, shrimps grits yummy. My order was good and not over cooked they also sell dessert to top it off. Give it a try.

Fried Flounder was so good ! Fresh, not salty and just a little crisp. I did add a little dash of adobo and tabasco sauce at home lol but I like a little spice. Pleasantly surprised. The candy yams were good too, more natural tasting not extra sweet. Felt like a home cooked somewhat healthy but still tasty meal. Cash only though. Will be back !

One of my favorite place to get food very pricey but worth it. I think I have had everything on the menu I enjoy most the fried whiting’s with shrimp and Three sides macaroni and cheese candy yams and Greens. Sometimes they put too much pepper in the macaroni and cheese they don’t always make it to the same. But you can trust them a taste of seafood been around a long time. Remember they are black owned So leave your attitude at home” they don’t need to beg for business the food speak for itself
