Friendly cafe in a little historic town. Staff was friendly and casual and service was good despite being a little under staffed. They offer hot and cold sandwiches, and pizza with beer and full bar. I had the pastrami melt, which was tasty, but a little more meat would have made me happier. The prices were very reasonable, and I’ll Definetly stop by the next time I’m in Austin.

It is great that they have a restaurant that is open late in Austin. The food was pretty good, we had pizza and it was so big we couldn’t finish it. They have a nice selection of sandwiches. The prices are pretty good for being in central Nevada and next for to eating there next year on our next visit.

We pulled in to this restaurant at about 6:15 on a weeknight. It was pretty full, but we were hungry and decided to stay. We noticed that there were lots of customers with menus, but no one with food. We asked the waitress if things were unusually busy, but she said no.

The Silver State was recommended by the locals. We had simple fare of pizza, soup and salad. My grandson loved it and wanted to come back. Good basic food. A tad expensive but we were in the middle of no where on Route 66. I’d go back.
