The rice was outstanding, but the chicken was so over cooked you couldn’t chew it. It was actually hard from what looked like being dropped into a fryer. The rare steak was like jerky. It was just overall barely edible and being a first timer, I will also be a last timer.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars. It’s better than 3, but not quite at a 4. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to and I would have given it a 5 back then. However, I haven’t been in probably 2 years of so and a lot has changed. Our cook was great, and the food he prepared was really good. But they seem to have changed their sushi (used to be the best), their ginger salad dressing, and their shrimp sauce (yum yum sauce). Service was decent, but not as quick and attentive as it used to be. I’ll probably go back as I like to support local business (and the main dish was good), but I wish it was the way it used to be.

It’s hit and miss here. Usually it’s good but this last time, it’s went downhill. It wasn’t even busy that night. The service was slow and it took an hour to finally get a chef at the table to cook and then another hour til he finished. Wasn’t very entertaining and he cooked each dish one by one, instead of several at a time like normal hibachi chefs do. Very disappointed in tonight’s meal, might be awhile before we go back, it was that bad.

Had a great dinner at Oaska the other night. Our server was amazing and made sure our food tasted delicious. I got the Steak fried rice and my steak was the perfect medium. Also, I ordered their California roll, but gotten it deep fried. The sushi was outstanding. I will for sure be going back there in the future.

Came here for dinner on a weeknight and there was only one other family in the building. Poor lighting, no ambient music, and cheap furniture… I’ve never been in such a lifeless Japanese restaurant.

Favorite place since I was a kid. Best Yum Yum/Shrimp sauce at any hibachi place I have been. Best quality tasting food and underrated adult beverages. Banks served me and my wife last time. 10/10 I will always come back no matter how later in life it is.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered my food online just before 7pm. Was told it would be 40 minutes. Arrived to the restaurant 45 minutes later and our food wasn’t ready. She asked me to sit down and she would bring it out when it was. Half an hour passed by and I still did not get my food so I asked how much longer. She left and came back to tell me that it’s going to be another 25 minutes. I asked for a refund because I did not want to wait any longer. She told me she could not give me a refund for my online order because she did not know how and told me they are cooking my food now. I told her again that I can’t wait any longer and that I would like my money back. She still refused stating that she didn’t know how. Absolutely ridiculous. Waste of $80.
