This is my families go to Mexican spot by home. The owner is so sweet and the food there is great! I highly recommend the Molcajete because it’s freaking delicious! I haven’t eaten anything there that I didn’t like! I wish it was a bigger place but that’s not really a huge problem at all.

My new go to Mexican restaurant in Suffern. Authentic and delicious. The staff is very sweet. It doesn’t have a large dinning area however if you’re able to grab a table you won’t regret it. My family and I will definitely come back.

The Short: This place is a true “hole in the wall” but if you want something authentic, family-owned, and most importantly DELICIOUS it is definitely worth a visit.

Mexican food is enjoyed due to it’s spices and preparation to bring out the best . The chicken fajitas lack taste and seasoning; the guaq is excellent as is the rice and refried beans. Best pastor tacos around.

Worst meal I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. Not what I was hoping for when I got a craving for Mexican food after work. Typical decor in a small space. Although the staff was friendly, I’m sure they did not understand me very well, nor I them. I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and refried beans. My order arrived promptly, but was not even warmed through. I asked for it to be heated some more. It was probably microwaved and returned to me. It was still not hot, but I gave up and decided to start eating because I was hungry. I am sure that the enchiladas consisted of nothing more than a mozzarella stick wrapped in a tortilla. The cheese was so dense that mild heating did nothing to melt the cheese. In other restaurants, I have encountered shredded cheddar cheese or a blend of other appropriate ethnic cheeses, served nice and bubbly hot. The sauce on the enchiladas, and the sides were very bland, unremarkable and barely warm. Good luck to the owners. They will need luck, because their culinary skills are sorely lacking! I will never return to this restaurant.

As others said; Tacos are fantastic and fairly priced. Took me a minute to find it. I initially went into the restaurant next door (the one shown to the right of the barber shop in the google pic) – it’s actually to the left of the barbershop, almost hidden. I loved the Pastor tacos, with onion and cilantro, plus cheese, with squeezed lime, and a little of the green sauce. Fantastic.

Actually made me and my bf sick. The food that we ordered wasn’t even seasoned. The guac was old and the tacos they had ground beef in them made both of us sick. Honestly we had very high hopes considering the restaurant looks beautiful and the food looked very pretty.

Service was fair, but honestly the food was not so good. My rice was cold and my tortillas were hard. I especially didn’t like how the automatically added a tip to the bill. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday night, so that should have been my first sign of things to come. In Newburgh there are far better choices, look elsewhere.
