Always a great place for a bite to eat! The French dip sandwich and tatortots were delicious. The caramel roll was mouthwateringly tasty! It was so soft and covered in the most delectable caramel!

So good I didn’t have time to take a picture until my last bite! Very delicious food for a very reasonable price! Also the workers are very kind and quick to help you with your order. Tends to get pretty busy at time but it’s worth the wait! Picture of Salmon Benedict.

All-star staff, food and environment! This quaint true American diner has been around since I’ve been a kid. I would frequently visit with my father and the food is always great. I absolutely love the friendliness of the staff and who knows you might be lucky to meet the charming, kind and warm-hearted owner Tanya. But don’t take up too much of her time, because she in the kitchen and is one of the master Chef’s that continually crafts delightful dishes that brings smiles to anyone who’s curious to stop in for a delightful meal! I highly recommend supporting this local diner if your passing on through visiting this charming town they call Joe Town!

We had the breakfast special. It was 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. We even grabbed a slice of pie to go. ( Delicious ) Everything was hot and tasty. Great value for the price. Recommended *****

We just found out about this place a month ago. We have been there twice. You won’t be disappointed. If you go on a Sunday, you may have to wait a little for seating. I am sure that is because everyone else thinks the same way as I do about it.

Was getting some loader tires changed at a shop in Waite park, guy there recommended Kay’s Kitchen for a good spot to get some breakfast while I waited. Could not be happier with the food and the staff. Food was hot and delicious. The staff was warm and friendly. Chicken fried steak and pancakes are awesome! 10/10 recommend! Also, I’m a rather large individual and sometimes serving sizes are never enough, but the serving sizes here left me full and happy!

Breakfast at Kay’s is like stepping back in grandma’s kitchen. Love the down home, small town atmosphere with made from scratch menu that offers plenty of choices. Got to enjoy and share the Kitchen omelette, that was more than plenty, as it was filled with ham, bacon, mushrooms, potatoes and cheese. A side of hash browns and a choice of toast or English muffin nicely fills out the order. A to go freshly baked Carmel roll is a plus and my wife is always impressed with the coffee. Service comes with a smile and friendly banter. One may be passing thru town, but definitely leave feeling like one of the locals.
