5 stars for this tavern! So glad my friend recommended it. We met for a weekday lunch and it did not disappoint. The casual environment is what you would expect, but the food and service were way more. The menu had the standard tavern fair (fish and chips and burgers) with some extra flair like beet salad and a Greek goddess wrap.

Almost everyone working here is fantastic. Extremely amiable, sincere, and it seems like they enjoy their work (which is significant to me). Overall, a very cozy and welcoming setting. Excellent beer, cocktail, and meal options. If you want New York style, their pizza dough is the greatest in Folsom. Amazing are the huge pretzels with beer cheese. To add a little more balance to this review…The carnitas taco did not impress me. a little too bland in my opinion. Definitely come during happy hour, in my opinion.

Been passing by the Corner Tavern for quite a while and we finally decided to give it a try. Parking is/was a premium, as the lot isn’t very big with several businesses obviously attracting customers. The inside is kind of an upscale sports bar vibe with several TVs throught with various games on. We were greeted by a friendly woman who sat us and was our waitress as well. There is a full bar and a pretty good selection beer both on tap and bottled. The Tavern has a decent happy hour with food and drink specials, as well as daily specials. We settled on a couple drinks, ordered the garlic parm tots appetizer, the the happy hour chicken street tacos and the Thursday special 1/2 rack of ribs. Took a bit for the tots, but they were good. The tacos were pretty good as well, but the ribs were the highlight! Overall pretty good and worthy of trying if you haven’t been there yet.

Food was wonderful!! Haven’t tried everything that they have. Their pizza is wonderful! And the salad I had that was beats ,spinach, and feta cheese with salmon on top was amazing!

Delicious food!!! It’s down the street from where I live and I have always wanted to try them. My husband got the burger and the meat patty was a great size with thick cut bacon. I got the prime rib dip, the meat was so flavorful and tender, and the garlic aioli & arugula really make the sandwich!! The house chips are crunchy and fresh.

Pretty much everyone on staff here is awesome. Super friendly, genuine, seem to not hate their job (which for me says a lot). Overall very comfortable and welcoming environment. Great food, cocktails, and beer selection. They’ve got the best pizza crust in Folsom if you like NY style. And the giant pretzels with beer cheese…amazing. To give this review a little more balance…I was not impressed by the carnitas taco. A little bland for my taste. I would definitely recommend coming during happy hour.

Place was ok, the beer selection is pretty good, lots of beer on tap. I had a Philly Cheese Steak with onion rings and it was pretty mundane. Think if they paid a little more attention in the kitchen the place could be pretty cool. Service was very good.

I truly enjoyed my roasted beet salad with the exception that they didn’t roast the beets as requested, Instead the beets were a little on the cold side but still edible. I would have enjoyed it more if the TV speakers were at a lower volume for I could better enjoy the discussions with my lovely wife.
