We were visiting the area and decided we wanted sushi. Yoshi Sushi appeared to be owned by a mom and pop. He was chef and she was the waitress. I think they were at-least in their late 60s. Overall, the sushi was well done and reasonably priced. You check the boxes on a paper menu with your order and she collects it. Tea is given upon being seated. The miso soup was surprisingly fantastic. The salad was standard. The species used on the sushi pulled everything together. Our personal favorite was the a spicy tuna roll.

Nice quiet place with the best sushi around. Only two people running it, the chef and his wife. Everything here is top notch, and assembled with respect to the trade, using excellent ingredients and beautiful presentation. I imagine this is what it feels like walking into a sushi shop in Japan with the simple yet warm decor and neon lights. Some others complain of slow service, but I instead like to look at it as a non-rushed experience. You may also bring your own sake! Thank you, Yoshi sushi looking forward to the next visit!

I can’t stop loving restaurants that have been run by the same owner and with the same quality for years. Yoshi’s sushi is one of those restaurants and is reputable for its food quality. This is absolutely not a fast station that you grab and finish. You will have to wait a bit at busy days but I would say the food you got is worth your time. The store is run by an elder couple at their 70s with their whole career making sushi, so better not expect a shiny, energetic smiley greeting when drop by. HIGHLY recommend if food quality is what matters most to you in a restaurant.

They care about what they serve and it shows. The quality of the fish is exceptional. They don’t seem to use the same distributers as all the other places in the capital region, and it’s truely amazing the difference in quality of the fish. The rice texture and seasoning was also perfect. Can’t say enough good things. Just go, you will not be disappointed.

Top Sushi Restaurant. Sushi is prepared with a fine balance of fish and rice. Rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fish is so fresh is melts in your mouth. I am from NYC and this is the best sushi I have ever had.

Absolutely amazing place. My group of four from the new york state social studies teacher conference went here after it being recommended by a colleague.the place was extremely clean and the owners were very kind. They had some of the best sushi I have had in my life and the price was extremely affordable. I recommend the New York sushi roll as it was our tables favorite!

Sushi rolls aren’t the best, but the nigiri was good. You fill out a paper menu, checking the items you want to order, then you’ll get it back with your receipt/bill. I wasn’t thrilled with the Shirakiku drink, maybe because I was expecting it to be sweeter? They did give out complimentary candies with the receipt. All orders come with soup.

If I could leave no stars I would. The lady working there was SO rude to us. I have been here many times but have never been treated this way. We ordered the first round of food and she comes up to us yelling that we weren’t ordering enough to her liking. She kept yelling at us so much in front of everyone that it got to the point where we had to leave. NEVER have I been treated this way at any restaurant for not ordering enough food. I will never come back. If you come here, make sure to spend a lot of money otherwise you will be yelled at by the crazy woman lol.
